    PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.

This property surpassed our expectations! Thoughtfully provisioned, well appointed and extremely clean! The view from the lanai of the Pacific was breathtaking! I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, accessible and up-scale vacation rental. The rental provided us with extremely comfortable accommodations within the boundaries of the beautiful Kapalua resort neighborhood.

Amazing Ocean Views

This is a beautiful property with amazing ocean views. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the unit was very clean. Plus, the unit was stocked with lots of extra towels, Kleenex and laundry soap. It’s only a five minute walk to Kapula Bay for snorkeling. And the biggest bonus was the whale watching. We saw dozens of whales from the small patio. The only minor item was the mattress in the bedroom could use an upgrade to a luxury hotel mattress to to be on par with the rest of the unit. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented from Aloha Vacation Villas for the past few years. I feel like our experience with AVV was better when we first rented than it was this year. We would normally receive detailed instructions for check in/out (what to do with towels, bedding, etc.). We did not know when to expect cleaning to occur. And, there were no instructions on how to use the TVs in the unit (no channel descriptions, instructions for remotes, etc.). It just could have been more thoughtful than simply providing a code to enter. We are thinking about using a different property manager next year.Also, the unit is very close to the ocean and the window were covered with water from the ocean spray nearly the entire time we were there. The squeegee provided was not in good shape. So, we didn't really get to enjoy the views. I'm sure in times where the winds are calm (almost never in Kapalua), the view is magnificent. Finally, the bed was quite uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced.

We even saw humpback whales very close to the shore from the lanai! The condo itself, as well as the whole property, are very well maintained. Definitely my favorite spot in Hawai'i.

Nice condo with some issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this condo is nicely renovated. However, there were a couple of issues that drove us crazy. First, there is an overwhelming smell of mold when you walk in the door. At first I just thought the condo had been closed up, but that was not the case. Secondly, there is no air vent at all in the bathroom. The bathroom was very, very hot and stuffy most of the day. Trying to dry your hair & get dressed at 5pm in that hot bathroom was near impossible. Overall the air conditioning in the condo struggled to keep up in every room except the bedroom. This condo is beautifully decorated so we had no complaints with that.

A Wonderful Villa!

Reviewer Comments: This is one of the nicest rental locations we have ever visited.This one bedroom villa is in an excellent location with wonderful views from the lanai. It was clean, well maintained and quiet with large living spaces and a nice bathroom with a wonderful shower area.The property is secure with a code lock rather than a key, which was nice not only for safety but for not having to carry a key everywhere.We were in walking distance of the Montage and Ritz Carlton Resorts and were a 10 to 15 manure walk from Merriman’s Restaurant and Sea House.Beach access was also good!The villa and the property were clean, well maintained and near the pool.

Perfect In Every Way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from an 8-night stay in this villa and in every way it exceeded our expectations. First, let me say the location is SPECTACULAR. It is quite literally at the edge of a bluff overlooking the crashing surf and Molokai. The villa is very upscale with a nicely equipped kitchen and some convenient extras like beach chairs, beach towels and a washer and dryer. The walks you can take from the villa are varied and each spectacular in its own way - the ocean trail, beautiful Kapalua beach and several golf courses. Finally, the concierge service offered by Candice at Aloha Villas was wonderful. She set us up for several excursions (surf lessons, helicopter tour, Maleakala sunrise and biking tour, and diving trip to Molokini) and each of the excursions was top notch and hosted by friendly, professional outfitters. We will be back!
