We rented this property for a family gathering, wanting to be together in what was described as a four-bedroom villa. It is really two separate two-bedroom villas, with no interior connection between them. Thus the description is false. When we pointed that out to our host, he was unrepentant and claimed that the word “combined” in the small print should have tipped us off that the units are not actually combined.Setting that aside, the two units are very nice and generally well-appointed. Our difficulties were principally with the property management, which was marginal to incompetent. When we arrived - hungry after flying all day - the access codes they had given us were incorrect so we couldn’t get in with our melting groceries in the rain. So we called (and called and texted) the 24/7 telephone number they gave us. No answer or return call for over 24 hours. After sitting on the doorstep for over an hour we successfully attracted the owner’s attention through the Ring camera on the door, which resulted in a maintenance person finally letting us in. That was inexcusable treatment for a premium price.Other issues were annoyances reflecting that lack of management carefulness. We did not seem to have agequate towels in one unit; turns out housekeeping had not taken them out of the dryer. The freezer was frosted shut and wouldn’t keep things frozen, which was only cured after a 24 hour power outage defrosted it all over the floor. And so forth. Good luck.
