We have stayed at Ko Alina Beach Villas seven times. This is our second time staying at this villa (BT309), and we have already booked the villa for next year. The villa is super clean, has modern furniture, and plenty of kitchenware. The villa has beach chairs, a wagon, and lots of beach toys. The beach and ocean views from the lanai (balcony) are incredible. We can’t wait to return!

The condo and the amazing view is so nice that you never want to leave! It’s immaculate and I don’t think you can be this close to the beach with palm trees and a gorgeous view anywhere else in Hawaii. Priceless!

The view and proximity to the lagoon is wonderful. We loved how the doors opened all the way allowing for an open air villa. The view is absolutely beautiful. You can watch the sunset over the ocean every night. There is a well stocked supply of beach equipment to use, which is really convenient and nice. There was some hair left in the tub when we arrived and a couple other little things, but it was mostly very clean and nice inside. The arrival tour was a bit much. I would suggest either waiting until guests are settled or making it way less long and detailed. After a six hour flight with a 4am wake up, none of needed to hear about every restaurant, bar, and activity let alone get extremely detailed instructions on every single appliance in the villa. Pointing out the manual that contains that info would be better. The parking spot is a joke. We couldn't physically get into our car when we returned to it. The spot is way too small. We had to send our child through the back hatch to turn it on and luckily our vehicle has the option to back up remotely. Absolutely ridiculous to even offer this spot without disclosing the fact that it renders your vehicle useless if the other spaces on either side are occupied by other vehicles. The paper said to talk to the front desk if there was an issue, but all they do is tell you that you can pay extra to park somewhere else. We just left our car in the EV charging space since we had to charge every night anyway.

Amazing views!

Wonderful property with stunning view. Check in was seamless and any contact we needed was convenient and timely. We were 4 adults and 2 teens and had plenty of room and the unit had everything anyone would need to feel right at home. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Everything was amazing, the only thing that I was disappointed in was the robes were horrible and the water was freezing but you can’t do much about that except heat the water in the pool. I would’ve thought for that much money, the robes would’ve been new and soft instead of old and hard.

Wonderful vacation spot and unit!

This was our first time in Ko'Olina - the location, unit, and the resort did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. The onsite amenities for this resort are adequate and above average for a condo complex that had multiple hot tubs and two good size pools with a special wading pool for kids. There was also a small bar with live music in the evenings and is exclusive to the beach villas/not open to the public (happens to be below this unit, which was cool to listen to the music, but not great smelling cigar smoke in the evening). Obviously, this is not a hotel so no onsite restaurant, but that is what we were wanting. It's a short walk to the nearby hotel resorts with restaurants - you can see the vibe at those resorts is very BUSY compared to the beach villas. The lagoon in front of the beach villas is public (as all beaches in Ko'Olina are), but it is the smallest and the least busy of all of them from what we saw. The koi pond is huge and a great attraction for children. This unit has the unique advantage of being as close to the ocean as you can get in all of Ko'Olina, which comes with breathtaking views of the ocean, beach, and sunsets. The minor disadvantages may be less privacy from the lanai since the unit fronts the beach side and is on the third floor (vs an upper floor unit) and being on the west side of the building, the breathtaking sunsets bring the sun directly into the unit for several hours in the late afternoon and it can get uncomfortably hot (even with doors closed, shade down, and A/C running). We didn't enjoy as many sunset dinners on the lanai as we had hoped for this reason. We were traveling with small children and felt the unit was decorated in a way that is family friendly. Staying in a VRBO condo with small children can be stressful when units are cluttered with expensive and/or fragile decor, which was not an issue in this unit. A prior review indicated there was a portable crib and booster/high chair - when we reached out prior to our stay to confirm, we were told the unit did not have that equipment so we brought our own. It turns out that the unit had several portable cribs and a booster/high chair in the closet. Would have been great to have accurate information to avoid having to bring them from home, but it worked out fine for us as we are used to traveling with those items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this complex again in the future.

Incredible view and great amenities!

We just completed an 8 night stay at this property and it far exceeded our expectations! We were deciding between this unit and another, and ultimately chose this one because of the view. You absolutely cannot beat it! The condo was even better stocked than advertised. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach wagon, and we found beach towels under the bathroom sink on our last day. Though we are out of the baby/toddler stage, it seemed well equipped for that as well - pack n play, booster high chair, etc. Our kids loved playing at the beach, but also took advantage of the beautiful pool. We enjoyed cocktails on the lanai while live music played in the evenings, just below us. Though we saw a lot of other people around the buildings, we never heard a single neighbor while in the condo. We were grateful to have a designated parking spot (the property actually has two designated spots), but were relieved that we rented a full sized sedan. Just note that the spots are tight and we noticed that people driving oversized SUVs had difficulty parking around us in the garage. We had the most incredible vacation and can't wait to come back to this same property!

Exceeds expectations

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful property in the middle of September and thoroughly enjoyed it. All the photos of the property match the exact state of the property. You can’t say that for all rentals. The kitchen was well appointed and there were many other extra amenities like beach chairs, wagon and umbrella yhat made it very enjoyable. The staff around the property is very nice and the view from the condo is amazing! I have to thank the last person who left a review and complained about the blender, because when we arrived there was a brand new blender there. Manny piña coladas were enjoyed on the lanai. Thanks to our host for making it such a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was supplied that was needed for the kitchen and the beach.

Only issue I had for this condo is the second bedroom closet is very difficult to use because the bed is too close to open the doors.

Definitely a must

Beach Villas at Ko Olina has by far exceeded our vacation expectations! We were traveling with children and they absolutely enjoyed themselves! Our view from our villa was spectacular! Thank you again! We will be back!!
