Guests can also enjoy walking around the 160 acres of bush and paddocks, 3 dams and a winter creek. It is approximately 400 metres walk from Rushy Creek Farmhouse, also located on Rushy Creek Farm. The cottage has a large verandah on 2 sides where guests can enjoy the view or dine outdoors, or play Finska on the front lawn. Within walking distance from the cottage, is Wild Lot Gin Distillery (600 metres up the driveway and across the road!) and 2 kms from Rushy Creek is Glenarty Road Winery/restaurant. Rushy Creek Farm is less than 5 minutes drive from the Blackwood River at Alexandra Bridge, 10 minutes drive from Hamelin Bay and 15 minutes from Augusta and the mouth of the Blackwood River.
