施設は古いけれど、清潔に保とうとしている努力が見えて、不快感はありません。フロントも改装中でしたが、チェックインの際にスタッフの方が親切丁寧に誘導してくれて感じが良かった。河原の露天風呂も部屋の源泉掛け流しの露天風呂もとても気持ちが良かった。 ビュッフェ形式の食事はツアーのお客さんと時間が被ってしまうとかなり混み合って配膳が大変。夕食の天ぷらや鮎のフライがサクサクでとても美味しかった。
