Lovely stay. Elina was extremely helpful. Really well appointed. The only minor negative, which completely out of Elina’s control of course, was the villa nearby (not of of the twinned Sarlata villas) had some sort of intermittent alarm/droning noise from approx 6am every day, it didn’t wake you but made the early sit on the balcony difficult.

A view to die for…

Literally 5 mins from the airport on an elevated piece of land in Svoronata you'll find Villa Elina. You will need a car ideally as the access road is steep. The villa is over 3 floors, inc a basement bedroom with en suit. In total the villa has 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, one bath room on each floor. It’s packed with all the home comforts, this villa really is high class. The best part of it is the actual outside space, heated pool and jacuzzi with an awesome bbq. The maid comes daily the pool cleaner twice a week. We thoroughly enjoyed it for its location, 20m drive into Argostoli and venturing out locally you have some wonderful restaurants and beaches. Whatever you decide, you won’t be disappointed with Villa Elina, it is truly wonderful.

Nice house

The house is nice and in a good position to travel around the island. Cleaning is good and the pool very nice. The only thing is that one of the rooms is underground and dark, so it is better for 4 people than for 6 unless you want to put kids in it, but far away from the two other rooms. The upper level rooms are very nice but they share a bathroom at the upper level. All in all we would recommend it more for two couples than 3 as we were, because one of the room is not that comfortable being in the basement.

Fantastic holiday Villa,

Wow, this villa has really provided us with a holiday to remember. Fantastic, tranquil location but close enough to a few restaurants and beaches. Sensational pool and outside areas and a nice homely feel inside. Having been on many villa holidays it was also a nice change to have Rubina providing maid service every morning, clean towels, sheets etc were a really nice touch. Lovely welcome pack on entry as well so no need to dash straight to the supermarket. Overall a fatastic stay and I dont doubt we will be back at some point.

An amazing week!

From the moment we entered, Elina showing us around the villa, we knew it would be a holiday to remember! A beautiful location and superb accommodation. Rubina the cleaner and the gardener were great. The pool kept the kids entertained for hours and watching the boats and planes we all enjoyed! The Jacuzzi, bbq and evening drinks outdoors were highlights for the adults. Thank you - we hope to return one day!

Fabulous place !

Our 4th visit to this wonderfull villa and it still comes up to our expectations . Clean and beautiful villa with stunning views over the sea. Best swimming pool of any villa we have ever stayed in ( and that's a lot! ) Lovely gardens and very peaceful although we do come in October so might be noisier when other villas are occupied.The only thing that spoilt our holiday this year was the weather with nearly 4 days of rain , thunder and lightening! Still it's one of our favourite places and a stunning villa . We will be back again next year !

Amazing villa in stunning surroundings!

The property was spacious and very well equipped. The pool was amazing albeit unheated. A car is a definite must as villa located on a steep incline which afforded incredible views. We would definitely recommend.

Utterley fabulous!

The villa was everything and more the web site showed. Going with extended family, it was great that the villa provided so much space. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and having Rubina in every day to tidy around was a bonus and she was amazing. I am very fussy when choosing a villa and spend hours upon hours looking and checking each one. This is by far the best we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in many) The outside area was amazing, while the kids played in the pool the adults could enjoy the Jacuzzi with wonderful views out to sea. The BBQ was a great hit and we spent every evening using it. With such a lovely villa we did not feel the need to travel out. There are plenty of beaches to choose from you are spoiled and there are also many shops within driving distance. If we had any concerns the owner was answering immediately. The only thing I would say is the dishwasher could do with replacing! We would definitely stay again.

Excellent villa, can't wait to return!

Beautiful villa in a wonderful location. The pool, views and garden far exceeded expectations and made it the best family holiday the first with our 22 month old granddaughter who we could not get out of the pool! The villa is extremely well equipped and so well maintained on a daily basis by the wonderful maid service, I can not fault the quality of service. I just loved the outside cooking area, we had such wonderful evenings sitting outside watching the sunset. Hope to return next year.

Villa Elina was an absolute delight! The villa was clean and spacious and the outdoor area had amazing wide sea views. The airport was near but no problem at all intact fun to watch the few planes that land. The pool is 1.8 meters deep at one end so ideal for adults and children alike. We would highly recommend this villa. Elina was very helpful and the cleaner was cheerful and cleaned approx. 1hr per day but never got in the way (maybe because we were always outside!) 32+degrees every day, no clouds or rain so if you like it hot this is a good time to go! Would also recommend Mytros beach...beautiful clear water like the Caribbean! You will not be disappointed especially if your standards are high!!!

Overall the villa was perfect for our needs

Villa Elina is by far the best villa we have stayed in on the island. Easy to find, immaculately clean and maintained to a very high standard. Excellent customer service was provided even down to receiving a text when the lovely maid Rubina was taken ill and unable to come on one occasion. When there was a problem with the wi-fi it was fixed straight away. I would absolutely recommend the property to anyone considering visiting the island. Would recommend The Olive Grove and Avithos Bar as great places to eat out at. Thank you to Elina and Alexandra for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

A perfect getaway

Villa Alexandra is simply stunning. The pool and jacuzzi area is beautifully kept and all of the villa facilities are of a very high standard. Every comfort has been thought of, and Elina and Alexandra make sure you have a holiday to remember. The villa is in an elevated position looking out over the sea. Although close to the airport you won't be disturbed by noisy flights. Car hire is essential as the villa is in a rural area although there are numerous beaches and restaurants within a few kilometres. It is the perfect location if you want total privacy but easy access to facilities. This was our third visit to Kefalonia and it certainly won't be our last, I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone.

Lovely high end Villa on the best greek Island.

Stunning secluded villa with everything you need. We stayed for a week and loved it, the privacy for us was the best point, there is other properties nearby but not overlooked. Road up to the villa can be a bit of a challenge in the wet but we always managed. We was even supplied with cots and stair gates for our little ones. I would certainly use again & recommend.

Stunning location.

Villa Elina was very quick and easy to find from the airport. The entrance/access road was a little difficult leading up to the villa. Alexandra was there to meet us and was very welcoming and very helpful.Also,there was a food hamper for us,which was a nice touch. The inside of the villa was spacious,bright and very modern.In fact,the whole villa,had a lovely,relaxing feel to it....perfect! The only downside,was,there wasn't any U.k channels on the satellite t.v. I would just like to mention the maid,Rubina.She was a very lovely and cheerful lady and always had a smile on her face.Whilst being very discreet,she would leave the villa looking sparkling. The grounds surrounding the villa,were magnificent and very well kept.The views were amazing.Especially,on an evening when the sun was setting.Some mornings,a Shepard/farmer would bring his sheep and goats to graze about 100 meters away,which the wife and I loved.It was nice sat on the balcony with a coffee,watching the goats with the little bells they wear. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic,the kids absolutely loved it.In fact, one of our children,learnt how to swim! so that was a magical moment. It was very easy to find 5-6 stunning beaches,all within a 10-15 min drive from Villa Elina.We swam and snorkeled most days and we were lucky to see some amazing sights on the seabed. If you get chance,you must travel into lassi (15 min drive) and look for a restaurant called 'Butlers House' The food and service there is 1st class.We ate many times there.Also,make sure to go into the village Lithakari,just up the road from villa elina.There is a Greek patisserie shop which is owned by a man called Antonius and he makes some unbelievably nice cakes. soggiorno perfetto a Cefalonia!!

Abbiamo soggiornato a villa Elina le ultime due settimane di agosto 2010. Il "gruppo" era composto da me, mio marito ed una coppia di nostri amici con i loro due bambini. Devo dire che è stato un soggiorno perfetto: la villa è spaziosa sia all'interno che all'esterno. L'interno è molto bello: la cucina è molto grande e fornita di tutto (forse necessita di qualche pentola in più); il soggiorno ha una zona relax e una zona pranzo. Ci sono due camere con bagno al primo piano e un'altra camera con bagno al piano inferiore. L'esterno è ancora meglio: c'è l'ampio porticato coperto da bellissime bouganville dove è posto il tavolo per mangiare all'aperto, il camino, i lettini per prendere il sole, il giardino, l'orto dove abbiamo colto dei buonissimi pomodorini e la grande piscina con irdomassaggio!!! In più c'è una vista bellissima su Zante......con stupendi tramonti! Vicino c'è l'aeroporto di Cefalonia ma non ha disturbato più di tanto. La villa è in buona posizione per girare l'isola: è centrale rispetto alle mete principali. Per concludere posso sicuramente affermare che villa Elina è stata una scelta perfetta da ogni punto di vista!!! Per finire un commento anche su Cefalonia: splendida isola con bellissime spiagge tutte diverse!!
