“This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. My only constructive criticism of this property, as well as almost all other VRBOs, is to reduce the unnecessary furniture, bookshelves, and tchotchkes that...

“Perfect location, can walk just a short walk to the ocean cliffs and sit and watch the ocean. You can even hear the waves at night from my room. Just a room with bed, microwave, fridge, and bathroom. Nice outdoor table area that is covered so you can eat outside. Highly recommend.”

“Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!”

We did run into a few issues with fire ants out on the patio table but you have to expect that in such a nature filled environment. The beach accessories were fantastic to have available. Not much air movement outside so some outside fans would be very helpful on hot days! We would definitely stay here again! ”
