Getting Around: Kendal railway station is situated on the Lakes Line – the branch Line from Oxenholme to Windermere. It is operated by TransPennine Express and has one platform. Kendal railway station is situated just a short walk to the centre of town.
Oxenholme – The Lake District railway station is Kendal’s closest mainline train station. Forming part of the West Coast Main Line with direct trains to London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester. Once you’re there, hop on a quick Lakes Line connection to Kendal Station.
