Went to Kernville for a few days to get away, the house was perfect fit for our family of 5. Very spacious. Great location, close to town and can't beat being on the river. Caught several fish right behind the house! Would definitely come back.

River side retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The river/beach access can't be beat, caught some fish and the kids hads a great time playing in the sand. The home was well kept and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfull Stay in Kernville

We stayed at the Riverfront property in Kernville over the Christmas holidays with my 2 daughters and our dog. What a wonderfull place. Clean, modern, great location and stunning views and river acces. Close to the town for all your needs. Will definitely book this property again when visiting the area.

Close to eveything in Kernville

I took some first-time "campers" to Kernville so they could experience the river rafting and tubing. The location was conveniently close to all the amenities in town, and the family had a wonderful time. They are already asking when we can plan the next trip.

Wonderful Riverside Property

We loved sitting on the porch and down by the riverside and enjoying the sound. Everything was clean. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed to cook. We enjoyed the space and the quiet neighborhood. We would recommend this place for sure.

Wonderful Summer Vacation

The property was beautiful and located right on the river. Amazing views and very clean with private beach access just as described. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed great fishing right front the backyard. The host was also very helpful with answering any questions. We can’t wait to go back again!

great location and beautifully maintained property

The home is really great. It's spacious, easy to use, and really a remarkable location right on the river, across from Rivernook Campground where some family were staying. Everything worked well and was user friendly.

Excellent trip. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful house with a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Kern River. Very well stocked and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds! Would come back in a heartbeat

Beautiful house right on the river!

As mentioned by others, the actual experience is so much better than what you see in the photos!! Fishing right from the back of the house is amazing and watching rafters float by while relaxing out back was super enjoyable for the whole family! Can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful

We loved the place as we walked in. Perfectly located on the river, with 2 balconies that overlook the river. The house has private beach. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be renting in spring or summer. Hause was clean and full of everything to make you feel home. Great communication with the host.

Kern River Hide Away

Beautiful property located on the bluffs above the Kern River. Secluded, quiet and a fabulous neighborhood. The house is very clean, spacious and well appointed with everything you normally don’t see in rental properties. My family is very impressed with this property and we all had a great time. I highly recommend this offering.

Rapid Decompression

To explain - this accommodation is a great place to decompress and just relax. The river's rapids are literally just below the home and lull you to sleep every night. Kernville is a quaint town to explore and its shop owners are nice. If what you are looking for is a unique setting, a comfy home, and a place to share with friends or family over fine meals and nature, you can't go wrong with this excellent getaway.

Wonderful Stay on the Kern!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this amazing river front home. The home has a great layout for a family, had a well stocked kitchen, a beautiful deck overlooking the river, and a location that can’t be beat! My kids caught a ton of fish right in front of the house and we all enjoyed rafting on the river. The host was great and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing river house

This house is the place to stay if your heading to the kern river! It has the most amazing view when you walk in directly over the river and right into nature. The highlights are definitely the balconies that overlook the river and the immediate river access just below the house. We went with family ranging in age from 2-68 and it was great for all! House was clean and owner had great communication 😀
