No smoking. Visit England 3 Star.. Olivet is a ground floor apartment in Hewetson Court which is situated just off the main street and only minutes walk from the town centre. Ideally located for those who wish to enjoy the delights of Keswick without having to move their car from the allocated private parking space. Set back from the main street in a courtyard setting these apartments have been constructed to provide comfortable accommodation for those who would like to be in the ’heart’ of this popular market town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The property includes double glazing windows to keep noise at bay alongside rustic pine wood furnishings in both bedrooms. This property has everything you need to make the most of your holiday. Lake Derwentwater is a mere ten minute stroll and Keswick Leisure Pool and park are close at hand, where you can enjoy swimming, tennis, bowls and mini-golf. An abundance of restaurants, tea rooms, pubs (serving excellent bar meals) and shops are all on your doorstep to ensure you always have somewhere new to visit. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

I have stayed in Hewitson court on many occasions but this is the first time in Olivett.

I have stayed in Hewitson court on many occasions but this is the first time in Olivett.the reason I have gave it a low mark for comfort is down to the bed.Both my wife and I found it very uncomfortable and woke every morning with a stiff back.If you refer to the comments book in the premises you will see that this issue has been raised on many occasions over the last 18 months.The apartment also looked tired in places and could do with a coat of paint.We would only stop here again if it was a last resort.

We loved the location of the apartment, so close to Keswick with the added bonus of the parking spa

We loved the location of the apartment, so close to Keswick with the added bonus of the parking space. Other people mentioned problems with the shower but we didn't find this to be the case. Likewise the bed was comfortable and the kitchen size perfect for our needs although we removed the bin to give us more space. The only problem we had was that some people tried to get into our flat on the last night thinking they were staying there instead of another location in Keswick. They and us were concerned that their key allowed entry through the main door into the apartments. We dont know if they would have got into ours as we had left the key on the inside of the door. Nonetheless a scary moment at 12.20 am!! Fortunately they went on their way eventually. A great week and would highly recommend.

We have used Olivet on numerous previous occasions and have always found it excellent. The shower can be a bit temperamental but useable. Currently, the flush on the toilet is extremely slow to refill and is a bit of a nuisance.
