  • Bring the group together for a memorable stay in this elegant holiday home in Keswick. There's something for everyone nearby. Explore the Lakes by foot, bike, boat, car or bus, with fantastic trails and routes to choose from, including the summits of Skiddaw and Blencathra (both within 6 miles). A 3-mile walk will take you to the shimmering lake of Derwentwater, which is flanked by the iconic Cat Bells and continues to the enchanting Borrowdale Valley. Or hang up the car keys and opt for a 1 hour walk up to the summit of Latrigg Fell or Walla Crag directly from the house, taking in panoramas of the entire Western Lakes on the way. Alternatively the hop-on, hop-off boat tours on Derwent Water offer 50-minute cruise that boasts jaw-dropping views at every turn, or rent some rowing boats for some Swallows and Amazons fun! A 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride along the Threlkeld to Keswick railway trail drops you into the heart of Keswick, a market town with a pedestrianised shopping square, delightful eateries and plenty of artisan shops. Theatre goers will love taking in a show at the Theatre By The Lake (2 miles), while golfers can hit the fairway at Keswick Golf Club and Cockermouth Golf Club (both within 12 miles).

    Enter the boot room of this gorgeous Victorian home, featuring high ceilings, stylish furnishings, a vibrant art collection and bold colour palettes. Take advantage of the utility room by storing your walking gear before proceeding through the boot room to the jaw-dropping country-style kitchen. Use the pantry to store your produce from the day's adventures, then prepare a feast for the whole troop using the Rangemaster oven and its rustic counters. Situated in the centre of the room is a farmhouse dining table seating eight, with a gorgeous Scandi-style dining room accommodating the entire party through the hall in the dining room. The heart of the home is the spacious lounge, with refined furniture, a Smart TV, glowing wood burner and large bay windows that capture the gorgeous surrounding views. Finishing off this floor is a separate WC, and a games room, which features a table tennis table. Stairs lead up to the first floor and the bedrooms. A super-king-size bedroom offers far-reaching views, alongside a second super-king-size bedroom, a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom with another pull-out bed tucked below. For the children, a second stylish lounge is located on this floor, featuring a Smart TV and folding doors that lead to a den with two single children's beds. Fishing off this floor are two washrooms, including a shower room with a shower and WC and a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.

    Take a drink or dine outside on the front patio, savouring views of the sun setting over the Lakeland peaks while you recline on the contemporary garden furniture.
