“We did not appreciate our inability to get answers for what to do with suitcases. We called We texted. No help. Ended up spending money to store our luggage at the airport. Huge amount of stairs with a lift withou a key. No wi fi no tv. Kichen forks need to be replaced with decent fork No plug for bathtub. Two towels for three days. We had to pay money to park. Blinds in living room do not close. Big spacious space.obviously meant to be apartment not overnight guests.”

“This property is not accessible, the entrance is in the back to which I had to drag my luggage down a small slope and then across some gravel to get to the door. There was no step at the door so it was difficult for me to get my luggage up into the unit and then myself. The price increase from what you showed and then what I actually was charged was substantial and they only allowed less then 24 hours for cancellation.”

“Conveniently located in the South End of downtown Halifax, this VRBO is in an amazing location. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, great restaurants, Queen’s Marque, and the Public Gardens. I enjoyed the area and felt very safe walking everywhere. The Blue George room looked generally like the listing, but the decor felt less refined in person than in the photos. There was no AC in this unit, but the fan worked well to cool the room. It may be helpful for travelers expecting a traditional...

“This rental was excellent, The photos correct. The only problem we found was that is was a half hour walk to the harbour and downtown but that was our own fault- it was listed as being in North Halifax. It was close to some nice pubs and a large grocery store.”

“Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the accommodations provided during my stay beginning on August 8, 2026. Upon arrival, we discovered that the lock on our assigned room was defective and could be opened without a key card, presenting a significant security concern. After demonstrating the issue to front desk personnel, we were reassigned to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was in an equally unacceptable condition, with visible...

“Very convient and well situated. The apartment is very clean and well equipped with all the needful, thank you for hosting us and hope we can revisit one of these days -:)”

“The place is clean and delightfully decorated. Our main frustration was the location which was close to 2 miles from downtown and the waterfront. It is not ' steps from downtown '. Uber was easy and inexpensive but it was not convenient. The place was minimally equipped and we had to ask for drinking glasses, towels and a coffee pot when we arrived. They were delivered promptly but the coffee pot lid wouldn't close.and there were no filters provided. We were there during a very hot spell but the...

“The place was amazing, a hidden gem. Having the luxury of free overnight parking was priceless. From the truck to the spot was mere feet to the back deck. The location is ideal for business travel and alike. This place brings you back to the old Victorian design with excellent natural light and high ceilings. This is the number one pick of the litter:))”

“Nice apartment and close to Halifax waterfront. Washer and dryer was nice to have access to given we were at the mid point of our stay. Parking was a plus and easy to coordinator with owner prior to arrival. While the kitchen and bathroom were clean, I gave a lower cleanliness rating due to multiple long black hairs on the fitted white sheet which made me question if the bed had been cleaned prior to our arrival and the sofa was covered in short white pet hair. ”

“We had a wonderful time in Halifax- our host was helpful, great with communication, and responsive to our questions. We would definitely book this loft again!”
