This was such a cute way to stay on the water. It is very similar to an RV...but in water not land. We loved our visit to the Keys and relaxing on the back porch was a morning and evening enjoyment.

The aqualodge was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for the week we were there. The pool is a wonderful 10 minute walk away with drinks and snacks and beach access. Everyone was kind and willing to help with any questions or requests we had. There are a lot of built in perks as well within steps from your door (kayaks, boats to rent, laundry facility, restaurants). The neighborhood was perfect for walks and bike rides with an enormous bike/pedestrian lane. Also there is a playground that’s only a 10 min bike ride away!!! My husband and son caught TONS of fish from the porch of the aqualodge and my daughter and I were able to see the sunrise each morning. We will be coming back!!

The pool is located at the club down the road which you can enjoy the bar/pool and beach. Everone working the property was extremely nice ,very helpful and made the stay pleasant.

Great economical place to stay.

Clean and convenient place to sleep. Good for a couple. For a family a larger place would be better. Cabana club access as always is great and a must when staying in KCB.

Our visit to paradise!!

So, at first I thought yikes that’s small but have to say no one cared when we sat on that deck facing the water!! It was so beautiful with an awesome sunrise and a nice warm breeze!!The use of the cabana club was a huge plus!! The staff, Scott and Jo Lena were so helpful and accommodating! Very relaxed feeling. Loved the the guys at the marina, also!I would definitely come back to our little floating houseboat, especially coming from the cold state of Maine….it was Heaven!

Wonderful Stay

We so enjoyed being on the water wonderful sunrises & a few manatee sightings. Very clean AC was cold, hot showers, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Beach and pool within easy walking distance as well as some good restaurants. Agree with everyone 100% Dani is a excellent Host!

Perfect

The view alone makes this the perfect spot! Stunning views which we could not get enough of. Manatee and dolphin spotting from the decking was amazing. Inside very very clean, beds very comfortable and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Access to the beach club was a big plus, we enjoyed the heated pool and the beach. We love the location, friendly fishermen and lots to see. We will be back!

Exceeded our expectations!

Our stay on the aqua lodge was an amazing spring break for our family of 4! It was surprisingly spacious and very clean! Dani the property manager was beyond friendly and helpful along with the rest of the marina staff. The views were incredible and access to the Cabana Club was a major bonus! Can’t wait to come back!

Aqua Lodge at KCB

Aqua Lodge was small, but comfortable. The view was excellent. Dani was so friendly and helpful. The internet connection was almost nonexistent, and the television was nearly impossible to watch. We did have a really good time.

Great place!

My husband and I booked the aqua lodge 8 months ago as it looked like a fun and unique adventure. We are always up to trying something new! Our flight was delayed and we arrived in the dark. We knew it was on the water but didn’t realize it was at a marina with fishing boats so it took a few minutes to find it in the dark. We stayed in the Dolphin which has a ramp from the marina into the aqua lodge. It was very cozy and clean. The bed and pillows are super comfy and the rocking of the boat on the water super soothing. We had a great sleep. The little patio was delightful with a beautiful sunrise and we ate breakfast out there every morning and played scrabble at night. The fishing boats beside are amazing and the fishermen are very kind. Manatees often came by to say hello. It was restful watching a multitude of yachts come and go as well as watching the pelicans resting on their posts. My only caution would be for people with mobility issues. Getting in/out at low tide could be difficult even with the ramp because of the steep incline/step depending on which aqua lodge you are in. Overall, it was amazing! Would highly recommend to people looking for something a little different than the typical vrbo.

A unique and lovely stay!

We loved our little houseboat! It was so fun to hang out on the deck in a working marina and watch the boats come in and out, and commune with the pelicans. The cabana beach club membership that came with our stay was great for pool, hot tub and beach time. Key Colony Beach is private and you don't really have to dodge traffic or tourists. I would highly recommend this place!

Deceiving ad

We left after 2 nights because we were docked right next to an active fishing vessel that disturbed our sleep 2 nights in a row. The owners felt that this was an OK situation and we should have stayed through the end of our contract. I do not feel this was fair treatment because the VRBO ad showed these Aqua Lodges docked amongst trees and looked more like a nature reserve than a busy motorized boat harbor. Even though we were disappointed when we found the Aqua Lodges docked amongst fishing vessels, we really wanted to experience them and tried our best to tough it out but it was a quality of life issue we should not have had to deal with while on vacation. We did sign a contract that said "no refunds" but that contract also said quiet hours were strictly enforced which wasn't the case when the fishermen were banging around and talking loudly from 2-330am. I consider the contract void because of that and feel we deserve the balance of our nights refunded. I think any fair-minded hospitality purveyor would agree that we were put in an unfair situation and we acted appropriately but these owners have no concern or care for their customers.

Summer vacation

This place was amazing very clean easy to get to and over all wonderful. The staff was super nice and helpful with all of our needs . We stayed a week but wanted to stay longer!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you all for an amazing vacation..

This was perfect for us. Plenty of room for 2 of us. Good deck with large table and 4 chair. Open kitchen/ couch area. Would definitely do this again. Cabana club a plus.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, & Affordable Houseboat in Marathon

Was very impressed with accommodations, especially the included access to nearby Beach Club with pool, bar, and private beach. Quiet location with great view of inner harbor from front porch. Gas grill and rental boats available as well. Very friendly staff. Easy access to Overseas Hwy protected with traffic light. Many great restuarants and shopping only minutes away by car.
