Cerca del John Pennekamp State Park
El hotel está bastante bien, aunque la entrada al mar es diminuta y no hay paseo, pero esto pasa en casi todos los hoteles de la zona (la costa es privada y no se puede caminar). La cama es cómoda y está todo limpio. Lo único que no nos acabó de gustar es que la suite caribe en la que nos alojábamos tenía una gran cristalera como puerta (teníamos que dejar las cortinas corridas todo el rato para que no se viera el interior).

The property sits on a small private beach which is beautiful and serene. Complimentary kayaks and standup boards are provided for guests use which is very nice! There are also hammocks, beach chairs/towels and tiki huts that complete a tropical paradise. We watched the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen on the dock, and even found a patch of colorful live coral reef under the crystal clear water. The experience was amazing. I’d highly recommend this hotel, but also would hope they improve their guest service in areas like providing clear instructions to the property, code to enter, and WiFi password which is nowhere to be found. We had to call their office multiple times to get the info above mentioned which we felt disappointed.

Nice clean room, great cleaning lady. Property kept very well! Very small beach area. It does have a small deck over the water. Next door properties are very close. Was very quiet. We had a nice stay. 😊

I have to commend the spectacular level of customer care provided by management. They provide a level of customer service here unlike any other I have ever experienced. If I could give them ten stars I would.

If you are looking for a high-energy resort with lots of activities and amenities, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a quiet, intimate retreat--this is the perfect place! My wife's first words when we walked into our room were "Well, this is cute!" Very much a boutique motel. We stayed in the Caribe room, which does not face the water but does have a little private patio. There were a few issues with the access code and coffee maker when we first got there, but they were quickly resolved and the rest of our stay was quite enjoyable. An easy walk to Sundowners (which is excellent!), Jimmy Johnson's places, and several other bars. A short drive to lots of other great restaurants, Publix, etc. The property does have a small beach (more for show) and there is access to kayaks and paddleboards, which we did not do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back in the future.

Property was tucked away and had an amazing dock and small beach area. Grounds were nicely kept and access to kayaks, bikes and paddle boards was very nice. The room (Boat House) was a bit unexpected as it was attached to the office and did not have any windows except the front door. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The room had everything we needed - just a little odd but the beach access and dock made up for it.

Boathouse room needs a dehumidifier and air purifier. Very small with a very musty smell in room. No ventilation, room only has a door... No windows. Otherwise, room was very clean and well supplied with everything you would need... microwave, refrigerator with freezer, even a dishwasher.

Azul Del Mar is a nice piece of property to spend a few days. Quiet and relaxing with a small dock to enjoy the sunset. The dive resort has a pool that guests can use. I would give 5 stars if there was someone at the front desk.

The boathouse used to be used as a store for the lifejackets and paddles, it has no windows, the bathroom door is an old closet mirrored door, when we expressed our disappointment, the receptionist said that she had spent a week in it and it "wasnt too bad but to be honest I wasnt in the room much" Probably the least truthful description of a property I have ever stayed in.

Alright so, this place was right on the cusp of 5 stars. For the price point, it exceeded what I think it should be. So that’s good. I liked everything, it was quiet, set back, calm. The parking lot is away from the building and that creates a real serene sort of atmosphere. Except one a-hole decided to park his cheap Mercedes right in the rocks right next to the sidewalk, which is obviously a no parking area. Check in and out were easy. The WiFi works well. The bed and pillows were good. Our room was aquamarina and it has a good view but the room, with the view, is kinda just forgotten about. There was a loveseat and that’s it. It’s like that’s the best part of the whole place, give the area some love lol. Drawbacks, really the only drawbacks are things that can be easily fixed. If they have someone clean the windows more often on the outside, update some of the bathrooms and doors/windows. Basic maintenance like keeping the outside roof clean (that might be expensive tho). Back to good stuff, The beach area was quaint and nice. You can swim if you want. The sunset on the dock is beautiful. Only one complaint about that area is it isn’t lighted after dark so when the sun goes down the area is kinda useless. I wish they had a gate to the property. All in all, worth the money and we had a great time.

Such a beautiful place. It's a quiet oasis on the main drag. It has such a peaceful vibe. There's lights strung for ambience on the property and the dock is perfect for drinking your morning coffee. The room was pristine and extra touches were given. We have been staying somewhere different for two weeks on a road trip and this is the best place we have stayed.

The staff was fantastic in accommodating us for a very early check-in. We were very grateful for that. Upon arriving to the property, though, the room smelled funky, like it suffered from chronical humidity. Also, the toilet and sink had no water pressure. The setting is nice with a very small and cute (rocky) beach in the property and spacious rooms, but we would not return because of the humidity sensation.

Very poor hotel
Arrived at 14.30. Told room would not be ready until 1600 as being the "inexpensive" room ours would be last to be ready. No facilities. Not possible to buy a drink. Room was dingy with a view of a store house. Bathroom with chipped bath, very weak shower and peeling paint. Felt totally ripped off.

Our stay was very comfortable. The Hotel is tucked away off the main strip but was very quiet. The room was very clean and efficient. The grounds are well cared for and the seating could be just a little more comfortable. the only recommendation would be a grab bar in the shower area The Staff was very helpful and courteous

When we got there, there's nobody in the lobby and there's a number to call. That's fine, but there's no answer at the number. We try for a while, then have to wander the property to find someone. Same at checkout. Dirty room, no bathroom fan, shower is just an old jetted hot tub with a shower curtain and shower faucet bolted on. Mildew on the bathroom windowsills. I could go on... and we paid $300 for the night! Not worth $100. I don't usually leave reviews but this was crazy.

The place is perfect for couples that want to get away. The staff was very helpful and tentative to all of our needs. The location is perfect for walking distance to nearby bars and restaurants. The price was perfect for exactly what we needed

This was a very average place to stay. We booked the La Palma suite, and it was fine, except for the fact that the bathroom area had no doors. My wife and I would have to leave the suite every time one of us had to use the toilet. The water in the shower did not get hot either. The property is very small, but it was quiet. We would not stay here again.

Older buildings but recently updated. Beautiful little sliver of beach and dock. Free beverages in fridge. Could see the ocean from our window. Free laundry! Perfect place for a quick stop to relax. Had food delivery from Fernandez the Bull Cuban restaurant also which was amazing.
