  • Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located in the heart of Key Largo. Our townhome is a short hour long drive from Miami, FL. We are located in Kawama, a private gated community with 24 hour security. Kawama is a 24-acre complex surrounded by three sides of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, known for some of the best Scuba diving and snorkeling in all of the keys. Kawama is a boaters paradise with an on-site marina with a ramp and world class fishing and sandbars.
    20lb maximum weight limit for pets.

Fabulous property

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property that was perfect for two couples. We enjoyed the sunsets and the great location as well.

Great place 100% recommend… but forget getting in contact with the host.. tried many times for questions about parking but never got a reply. over all easy, great place, would stay there again ! The place allows 2 parking spot per unit but they’re able to give us 3 at the gate! We had a total of 4 vehicles, one had to stay parked outside the community on the street

Perfect for group stay

This property was perfect in the heart of key largo with pool and ocean access. Had everything we need and even included two bikes! Great stay overall!

Great Place for the Price

Overall a great stay. Some maintenance is needed throughout, however it's a nice place for the price. Recommend taking a walk out past the marina to enjoy the sunset.

KEY LARGO PARADISE

My family and I spent 4 nights at Kawama VRBO and enjoyed it immensely. The place was spotless and plenty of space for everyone. Close to Publix, gas station, restaurants and the water.

Awesome Getaway

It was a beautiful and spacious property for all 7 of us. The salt lagoon took me back to my childhood swimming in the local quarry. I would definitely visit again.

Great family time!

The layout of the condo was perfect for our all adult family of 7. Plenty of space to move around and sit comfortably. Nice and quiet area to walk and enjoy the water views.

Family escape

We had a wonderful time close to the beaches, lagoon, pools, and more. Each level offered privacy. We loved the balcony views in the master bedrooms And main living room.

AWESOME PLACE!

Absolutely loved the condo! Very clean and perfect location, the hosts were super responsive and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. As a STR owner myself it is great when you find a property that is exactly as the pictures show. We would absolutely recommend and come back again! :-)

Excellent location for family vacation

The unit was as described and was clean, comfortable and updated. Excellent and fast response from the host when contacted. Great location on the lagoon and the unit is near both pools. I have rented many different units over the years at Kawama and this unit ranks with the best.

Key Largo perfection!

The property was just as listed. The home was clean and had all of the amenities we had hoped for. The lagoon view was phenomenal! Each level has its own balcony and bathroom. We were very pleased with the location and gated entry. The community was quite with easy access to ocean views and just a short drive to so many great restaurants. We loved Georgies cafe in Islamorada, and i highly recommend Pinecrest Bakery! Overall we had an amazing time and look forward to returning soon.

Fabulous Location

The three bedrooms were beautiful and provided ample room for the three couples in our group. The condo was fabulous. We enjoyed morning and evening walks to the pier. The lagoon was bigger than we expected and the men in our group went snorkeling ans and saw fish. We drove to local beaches, did the drive to the Keys, and went kayaking in the mangroves, but would have been just as happy spending all our time at the condo . We highly recommend this VRBO

House had some maintenance things that need to be fixed, cabinets, faucet in bathroom upstairs both shower and sink, cabinets and drawers in kitchen other than that was a nice stay

We enjoyed the stay very much. The house was in a safe quiet neighborhood. Plenty of utensils and toiletry items were provided. Beach and Pier were a quick 5 minute walk from the townhome, which is a great place to relax. The only minuses were the small compact bathrooms with extremely small windows. However the bedrooms had no windows at all.

Always enjoy Kawama. This property was modern and close to the lagoon owner was very responsive to one small issue we had. Dishwasher did not work. He replaced it the next day

We had a great time!

I'm always kinda nervous about getting a vrbo if i don't know exactly where the property is located. But this place did not disappoint. The actual unit was immaculate. The property was great. It had a point where you could go out to the ocean, it had a couple swimming pools and it had a few awesome lagoon areas where you could swim with the fish. everyone onsite was super cool. my teenage kids were able to borrow kayaks for about 15-20 minutes with no issues. I would definitely look at staying here again. We've stayed at cheeca lodge and i think i probably save a couple grand just by staying here and it was waaaay better.
