This is a beautiful place. Mike & Lisa were terrific hosts. Clean, relaxing, near everything. The view from the deck of Mount Rushmore in the morning is spectacular!

Lisa and Mike were perfect hosts! Centrally located to all the top destinations in the Black Hills. Clean, quiet, great view of Mt Rushmore in the evening! If we ever get back we will definitely stay here.

If you want a quiet, peaceful place to come back to after exploring the Black Hills this is the place for you. Lisa and Mike are the perfect hosts. They thought of everything you may need. The view from the deck is spectacular and although they live right next door you still feel like you are alone.

Always a wonderful time

This is the fifth time we visited Mike & Lisa’s rental, and every time has been better than the previous, which is impressive as all of our visits have been fantastic. The cabin is unparalleled as is the hospitality and they have their own wonderful greeter in their cat, Okie.The space is very comfortable and clean, and has all the amenities one could hope for. Since our first visit in 2022 we’ve made it a pilgrimage at least annually. You will not find better hosts. They’re awesome!

Liked it so much, we extended the stay

The house is just perfect with great amenities. Lisa and John are wonderful hosts. The kitchen is one I would have in a future house. It also includes a distant but striking view of Mt. Rushmore from the deck.The house is an amazing point for ventures to Mt. Rushmore, the national parks, Badlands and Deadwood . Would highly recommend a stay

Great experience

Mark and Lisa were very friendly and welcoming. The view of Mount Rushmore from the balcony was more than expected Would definitely stay again or recommend to anyone traveling to the area

Lisa was an excellent host. She made sure that we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautifully decorated and fully stocked and sits on a beautiful wooded lot. I would highly recommend this cabin

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our stay at this property. The owners are wonderful people, their property is gorgeous, the house is clean and comfortable, and the views are stunning. It is far enough away from town that it’s peaceful, yet just close enough to Keystone, other area towns/cities, and area landmarks and travel attractions, allowing for the perfect mix of relaxing, shopping, entertainment, being outdoors, etc. Again, I will emphasize, the owners of this property are fabulous! Which makes this location all the more perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great get away in the Black Hills!

Beautiful

Lisa and Mike were so friendly, made us feel right at home. This home was well stocked with anything you would need. Too many extra nice things and attention to detail to mention from the personal gifts Lisa left for us to the heated bathroom floor tiles that she turned on for us before we arrived. Such a beautiful and peaceful and safe spot for us to return to after a day of sight seeingWould definitely recommend

Phenomenal

The trip was a last minute get away with my boys. Literally a day before we decided to hop in the car and drive out to South Dakota from Illinois to see the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, and the Wind Cave National Park. We chose this property do the the view of Mt. Rushmore off the back deck as well as the modern look on the inside We made the trip at the right time as there were very few tourists and the weather was low 70s everyday. We hiked up Black Elk Peak after visiting Mt. Rushmore. The scenery is breath taking. The owners were very nice and helpful. I am so glad we made the trip.

Beautiful location, wonderful property

We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms were completely furnished with thoughtful amenities to help us further enjoy our stay. The property lies in a beautiful and remote location. Lisa and Mike showed us practical care and many personal kindnesses during our short holiday.

The accommodations and hospitality were first rate. Nicely appointed with fun autumn touches. Location is ideal for seeing many attractions. And, words cannot describe the incredible view. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful rental in the Black Hills. Well supplied with everything you might need. Central location to everything we wanted to see and do. Mike and Lisa were very nice and accommodating. They allowed us to hike on their property. Offered us eggs from their sweet chickens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back there again!

Best place ever!

My husband and I have stayed at numerous places and this one is the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Lisa and her husband have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. The place is beautiful and decorated so nice. The bed and linens are wonderful. The view on the back porch for morning coffee and breakfast are so peaceful. I can’t say enough good things about this vrbo. You set the bar high Lisa. Thank you for that. We didn’t want to leave
