“The installations in the first chalet we stayed in (number 39) were not good. The ceiling fan was missing and the air con didn't work properly, sounding like a jumbo jet and with broken controls and bits of paper stuck in between to make the vents stable. We slept badly. The staff wanted to call in the maintenance team but it was clearly un-mendable. We insisted on being moved to another. “Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable. We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts. Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting. A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended. ”

“Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. ”
