  • Experience the essence of coastal living at Kaleula Beach Apartment in Kiama, NSW. This spacious retreat offers three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, along with a well appointed kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare a delicious home cooked meal. Ideally located just 1.5 km from the beach, it provides a comfortable and relaxed setting for a memorable seaside escape with family and friends.

    The apartment features a welcoming living and dining area complete with a lounge, television, four seater dining table, air conditioning, and Wi Fi for your convenience. The fully equipped kitchen includes utensils, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, stovetop, and dishwasher, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your stay. A main bathroom with shower and toilet is complemented by an additional separate toilet located in the laundry, which also includes a washing machine and supplied travel essentials, towels, and a hairdryer.

    Guests will also benefit from on site parking available in both the driveway and on the street. Perfectly positioned, the property is close to some of Kiama’s most popular attractions, including Surf Beach at 1.5 km, Bonaira Native Gardens at 1.4 km, Kiama Blowhole at 3.2 km, and Minnamurra Whale Watching Platform at 8.9 km, with Jamberoo Action Park and Illawarra Fly Tree Tops also within easy reach for day trips.

    Cancellations made less than 60 days before check-in will forfeit 100% of the booking value.

    After 48 hours of booking creation: No refund of any fees paid.

    All guests must complete electronic guest registration prior to arrival, including valid photo ID (Driver’s Licence or Passport), credit/debit card details, and a list of all guests with current mobile numbers. These documents are securely stored with industry-standard encryption and automatically deleted 14 days after check-out, in line with PCI compliance, and access codes are only issued to registered and verified guests. Any reservation made within 5 days of arrival requires a photo of a credit card in the same full name as the primary guest, matching the provided ID. If the names do not match, the booking will be cancelled and funds returned. This policy is in place to protect our guests, our property owners, and the community.

    A security bond or pre-authorisation will be required to cover accidental damage, breakages, or extra cleaning costs. Guests will be notified of the amount and method of payment prior to arrival. Any claims for damages will be documented and communicated clearly.

    All of our properties are located in residential areas and are subject to strict local noise regulations. Noise that can be heard outside the property between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM is strictly prohibited. Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted under any circumstances. Breaches of this policy may result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of your bond, and additional charges.

    Complimentary WiFi is provided by the property owner for guest use. As this connection is managed by a third-party provider, AirKeeper cannot guarantee speed or reliability and does not offer compensation for any service interruptions. AirKeeper will provide troubleshooting assistance to guests where possible but cannot be held liable for reception or signal issues beyond our control.

    Guests receive a full set of bed linen and one bath towel; pool, lake, and beach towels are not provided. Extra towels or linen can be requested 7 days prior, possibly with a charge. A basic bathroom and kitchen starter pack is supplied, but guests should bring additional items as needed for their stay.

    Departure Responsibilities: Upon departure, all properties must be returned in a clean condition. While a general clean is included in your rental, excess cleaning charges will apply for items such as dirty dishes, stained linen, food or drink spills, BBQ cleaning, or rubbish not disposed of in outside bins. If bin night occurs during your stay, please ensure the bins are placed on the curb as instructed in your pre-arrival email; failure to do so may incur tipping fees. Any additional cleaning or disposal charges will be communicated and deducted from your security bond.

If a zero-star rating were possible, this property would warrant it.From check-in, the property was unacceptable and unsafe. It was visibly unclean, with pests present throughout. There was no safe entry during heavy rain, no doormat, and none of the most basic amenities, including a tissue box. The Wi-Fi advertised at booking did not work.We immediately raised cleanliness concerns. Cleaners attended during severe weather, yet the property was only brought to a marginally acceptable standard. Without a doormat, red mud was tracked throughout, forcing us to spend much of our first day cleaning and purchasing basic supplies at our own expense. This was not the family break we booked, but a stressful attempt to make the property barely habitable.That evening, after showering the children and putting them to bed, I was woken by my son screaming. When I turned on the light, the bedroom was infested with bull ants on the walls, floors, and inside the bed, actively biting my child. This was extremely distressing and wholly unsafe.At approximately 9:30 pm, we contacted AirKeeper. For hours we were told alternative accommodation was being arranged, which proved untrue. With no resolution, I secured emergency accommodation myself to ensure my family’s safety.This experience was deeply distressing for our young family, and we were not fully reimbursed. I strongly caution families, particularly those with children, against staying at this property.
