This picturesque countryside location is a haven for keen outdoor explorers, known for its fantastic bird watching opportunities, and abundance of walks and cycle routes. Nature lovers can explore the reserve, half a mile away, or climb to the summit of Titterstone Clee Hill (6 miles) in the Shropshire Hills National Landscape. The historic market town of Ludlow, 10 miles away, offers a medieval castle, a bustling farmers' market and a food centre to discover. One of the area’s great country houses, Witley Court and Gardens, with its beautiful walks, secret waterfalls and lavish gardens, can be reached within 16 miles. The Georgian riverside town of Bewdley is 13 miles away where you can discover steam trains on the The Severn Valley Railway or spend the day at West Midlands Safari Park. A little further afield, you can explore the hillside town of Bridgnorth, with its cliff railway (15 miles).

There’s plenty of room to store your walking boots and coats in the entrance hallway that greets you and leads into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. An earthy colour palette and beautiful, homely touches combined with the glow of a feature wood burner and plush soft furnishings create a wonderfully peaceful ambience that beckons tired travellers to unwind in this single-storey abode. Boasting a sleek, contemporary country-cottage-style finish, the kitchen will capture your imagination and inspire you to whip up some tasty treats to be enjoyed with loved ones seated around the rustic wooden dining table. The plush sofas centred around the stone hearth offer a cosy cocoon to retreat to at the end of a long day. Back through the entrance hallway, you’ll find three peaceful bedrooms that share the same charm and character as the rest of this rural retreat; there’s one king-size, one double and one twin bedroom on offer. Brimming with style and sophistication, the contemporary family bathroom features a bath perfect for soaking weary walking muscles, and a separate shower, ideal for beginning your morning feeling refreshed.

Surrounded by mature trees, the enclosed decking and garden provide a wonderfully idyllic spot to enjoy dining alfresco with your morning coffee at sunrise or a glass of something chilled at sundown. Make the most of your peaceful setting by lighting the fire pit and stargazing way past bedtime. There is off-road parking for two cars which may not be suitable for low suspensions cars.

- Any bookings over 14 nights will be required to have a mid stay clean during guests stay
