The beach is a popular place to swim, snorkel, and sit with the last light. Travel north for the other Kamaole beaches, casual food, and coffee, or head south toward Keawakapu Beach and Wailea for a different shoreline and dinner plans. This corner of Kihei rewards couples who like to alternate a simple beach morning with a pool, tennis, or a quiet meal at home.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
