Great condo!

Loved the new kitchen - so many more cupboards! Had everything we needed. Location was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the nice shady lanai every afternoon.

Awesome stay

This place was clean and everything we wanted and needed to enjoy our week long stay. I thought it was especially cool that they provided beach accessories and a washer and dryer. That was a first for us and it made a big difference. We lucked out by where the location of this place is (Kihei) because come to find out, this is where the good weather and some of the best beaches are year round. We had an amazing trip and it was in large part due to where we stayed. Thank you!

Great location

This condo had everything we needed for a pleasant stay in Maui for our family of four. Within walking distance to Kamaole Beach II and various restaurants. Came with a wagon, 2 beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and sand toys. Check-in was easy, and we had no issues finding parking. Condo has two swimming pools and hot tubs. They were on the smaller side but still usable. Community grills are provided in the pool area. The only negative is the uncomfortable bed; it sinks in the middle. It should be updated at some point. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Love at first sight ...

What we loved: Located in a quiet area. Excellent beaches, dining, shopping within walking distance. Floor plan is awesome & spacious, well equipped kitchen. Basic necessicities, TP, paper towel, a few others (we paid it forward for the next guest). Beautiful walk to the beach (566-735 step on Garmin) w/ flowers and a gorgeous water fountain along the paved path. Beach equipment: towells, umbrella, chairs, wagon. Nice clean pool and hot tub area. Nice big TV's, Cable & WiFi. Minor hiccups: the wrong pool code and typo on WiFi PW was provided. The wagon wasn't there. All were quickly resolved after reaching out to them...great communication. Not so great side: mornings had dead cockroaches,1 alive in the coffee cupboard. Massive tiny ants on the end tables, tiny spiders on the floor...(with many stays in Maui at other properties, this was a fist for us). Check-in instructions addressed excessive use of electricity could result in extra charges. Indicated ceiling fans should be off when you're away, yet both fans were on when we arrived including the lights. We advised them the bathroom fan ran continuously and said we prefer we were there during repairs. We were notified they were aware and it would be replaced after we left. After learning about the electric policy, we chose not to use the air conditioners, but would have like to use it. Full disclosure on this policy would be preferred and appreciated prior to renting.

Excellent property

Description is accurate. Across the street from a beautiful public beach. Nice condo and nice condo complex. My only suggestion is that there is no table on the lanai. My wife and I had to use the AC condenser to rest our coffee cups in the morning, and no place to put our laptops except our laps.

Little things

The “toys”are a little worn out. One backrest has a broken strut. The other has Worn out rungs- it collapses when in use. There are masks and fins but no snorkels. We ended up renting backrests and snorkel gear for the week. We also bought 2 camp chairs and left them for the future guests. Cockroaches are a way of life in Hawaii but they are present in the mornings usually in death throes on the floor because I guess you spray for them. Fire alarm going off in the mid evening and standing in the street for 30 minutes with no direction from anyone was more comical than frightening. What’s with no water for 3 hours? Poor notice that we should prepare for that. Pool code wrong but we got it straightened out Parking is a bit cumbersome. Could never really get close to our condo end of the lot and then 2 flights of stairs. Oh well as I said - little things. Overall we had a great time. Grounds were great. Location excellent. Condo well stocked with great housewares. We’d come back

Good location but needs work

So the listing says recently renovated and it is tastefully decorated. However there are many missing/broken things that are not mentioned in the listing. I will start with the bed it has cheap wooden slats on a tile floor each time you move in the bed the slats get crooked and one night in the middle of sleeping the slats broke. My husband took the mattress off to look and there were several slats missing and he attempted to fix it enough to sleep on. But the point of that is the bed isn’t being supported and you roll to the middle because of it. It sucked. The bathroom fan doesn’t work and is covered in dust. Also the handheld shower head in the bathroom falls off it’s base randomly when you turn the water on and then it sprays everywhere and smacks you in the head. And for the beach gear there are only two beach chairs not four like in the picture and one of them is broken! Like the back of the metal piece is bent and rusted through broken so it’s great for poking when you sit in the wrong spot. Also there is no cooler(the small one present is falling apart at the seems literally) and no beach wagon, also the snorkel gear is goggles and fins only no mouth pieces which is probably for sanitation but I don’t even know where you would get a snorkel alone? Also the unit has a very strong musty/stale cigarette smoke odor and there are people randomly smoking on their balconies. And I try to keep wherever I am staying clean and there is no vacuum and there was sand everywhere when we checked in and the chairs were covered with dirt and sediment. I tried to use this tiny dirt devil handheld car vacuum and it had no suction at all. And just FYI if you do rent the place make sure you lock the door the instructions they give on how to lock it are not accurate.

Exactly as advertised - lots of beach stuff including a buggy to bring all our things to the beach. Process was simple, and renter was extremely convenient. Would definitely go back. Suitable for 2 - no more.

Banyan Stay

Very Clean, Nice and large with a perfect walk to the beach The Maui Banyan is very easy to get to all local activities and access to the hight to get to Lahaina and other East Maui activities.

Great place to stay. The central location in Kihei is great for exploring the island in all directions. The room was clean, well-kept and well-stocked with all the basic necessities. Overall, a great experience!

Great Stay and Location! January 2022

Really enjoyed this location and condo! Everything is so close by and was a super convenient location either by car or walking. It’s a nice and quiet area and we’ll maintained. The only thing we missed out on was a beach umbrella but we went down to Aunties Snorkel and they have so many things you can rent for beach days! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Location!

Thanks for a great stay. The condo was well equipped, super clean, and full of extras. Our hosts added many comforts of home including a well stocked spice cabinet & kitchen, playing cards, and all you need for a great visit to the beach. This unit it right across from the parking area and tennis courts. Conveniently located to a number of lovely beaches, shops and great restaurants - most withing walking distance. We greatly appreciated the host's many recommendations for dining and activities in the area. We would definitely stay here again and look to our next visit.

Memorable Maui Stay

My husband and I had a great stay at this lovely condo! It was very clean, stylish, and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked it was with toiletries, laundry detergent, and dish detergent. The kitchen has everything you need including food storage containers. We used the beach chairs and towels which saved us having to rent them. Having a washer dryer was also a huge perk. We had a rental car, but there are several beaches and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The community is quiet and smoking is not allowed which is nice. One of our neighbors (also a tourist) was smoking on their lanai and a resident scolded them and the smoking stopped moving forward. We never found an iron, but not huge deal for us. All in all it was an great stay and we would recommend this property to others!

Amazing stay at Kihei

This place is extremely well kept. Looks as though there were recent updates to the place. The location was great and food was close and everywhere. VERY CLEAN! The property manager quickly responded to us when we had questions. The parking garage is RIGHT next to the condo. The condo is one story up and right next to the stairs. I could not be happier with this place. Also, the beach toys were a huge plus! Rating: 10/10.
