  • Koko’s Cabana is a cozy 3 bedroom designer Cottage Oceanside in popular Kill Devil Hills and is only about 350 steps to the 1st Street beach access. 1 and 1/2 bath indoors and an outdoor shower and toilet. Wonderful screened in back deck is perfect for hanging out, listening to the waves and has become a guest favorite. Dog Friendly! Features a large fenced-in lighted backyard with fire pit, Beach Cart, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, beach toys all included. All you need is your swimsuit and flip flops.

THE HOUSE WAS GREAT,IT WAS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, ESPECIALLY LOVED THE PORCH IN THE EVENING. GREAT RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY. AND THE BEACH WAS GREAT. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING AT KOKO'S CABANA.

We had a wonderful stay! House was clean and comfortable- we loved the screened in porch! The outdoor shower was really nice especially for the kids after the beach! Great location! Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Koko's Cabana. It was very clean when we arrived, and easy to access. The owner gave us very detailed information about the place before we arrived and was very easy to communicate with. It is very close to the beach, just a short walk. It is small but very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the screened in porch area.

Perfect get away house

Close to everything! Beach, shops, dining, Wright brothers, sand dunes. Perfect for my family and dogs to stay at with plenty of room and the extra beach gear they provided came in handy! We would stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

Awesome getaway

Our family had the best time at Koko's. Clint was quick to respond, the house was perfectly clean and a short walk to the beach each day. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very clean. The location was perfect .3 mile walk to the beach that was it. Neighborhood was great to walk dogs as well. Back yard was fabulous for the dogs. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning drinking coffee and at night drinking a glass of wine and listening to the waves on the beach. Sunrise view was spectacular see photo below.

Perfect house by the beach

This is the perfect place to stay since you are near everything! The property was clean and well maintained. The owners definitely have thought of everything. This one is at the top of our list anytime!

Good getaway

Excellent location for beach access. Every thing was walking distance and the property literally has all necessities for the beach. Perfect location, walking distance to lots of conveniences (grocery, restaurants and BEACH)Very responsive property manager and quiet neighborhood, felt like we had whole street to our selves.

Get place

This property was a great place for us to get away for a week. It was close to everything that we wanted to do and the house was a perfect size for my family. Also the property manager was great and very communicative.

Great Pet-friendly getaway

Enjoyed my stay! The house was very clean and the location was great - very close to the beach and close to grocery stores and other shops. I brought my pup and found the house to be very pet-friendly since it has a securely fenced backyard as well as a gate on the front deck.

Great OBX house/ Super clean & cute!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Property manager was super responsive and gave us great restaurant recommendations! House was super clean and the beds were real comfy. The screened in back porch was a great place for family dinners and afternoon naps. We would totally stay at this property again!

Family of 4 beach vacation

Perfect location in Kill Devil Hills and a great rental for my husband & me plus two "kids" in their low 20s. Also, it was very accommodating for our dog - nice neighborhood to walk in, a great fenced backyard, and a short drive to Nags Head Woods Preserve which has terrific wooded trails! Honestly, we had ZERO complaints about the place.

Peaceful visit

Very clean and comfortable. Loved the backyard for the dogs. Great location. Very complimentary on check in/out times in off season. The back porch was my favorite space.One suggestion…the limitations of pets on furniture should be listed on property listing not just welcome letter for a “pet friendly” listing. At that time already purchased and may not be able to refund.I had a wonderful time!! Thank you.

Awesome home and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Koko Cabana!! The house is beautiful and exactly as described. It’s in a perfect spot for getting to the beach and has several dining spots in walking distance, with an endless number of nearby choices within a 5-10 min drive! The house was also perfect for our fur baby! She loved the fenced in yard, dog friendly beaches, and blocks to walk around the neighborhood. Great stay and Clint responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommend!

Nice stay in OBX

This cottage was cute, clean and had all of the necessities to make our week stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great with Publix right across the street and the beach just a 2 block walk the other direction. With the gas grill we were able to eat in several of our dinners. It was so nice to not have to worry about packing beach chairs and the beach wagon was fantastic, we want to buy one for our house!

Nice, clean beach house

This house has been recently remodeled and is bright, clean and welcoming. The owner reached out after we checked on to see if we needed anything. It's about two blocks from the ocean on a quiet side street, near the highway and close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and a couple of great family-run restaurants. Recommend!

Super clean (an ABSOLUTE MUST for us) had everything we needed for a family vacation at the beach - beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, even a wagon to tote items to the beach)! Beds were comfortable, back porch was relaxing, kitchen equipped with all we needed to cook meals. Proximity to beach and also a really good raw bar (and target with a Starbucks a short walk away). Mini golf a block away. This place has it all!!! Highly recommend!!!
