  • Welcome to Serenity, a cozy beach vacation getaway located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, NC. We are proud to offer:

    * non-smoking, pet-free cottage
    * 1/2 mile walk west of the beach
    * close to Nags Head and all your favorite attractions
    * 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (sleeps 11)
    * ground floor entrance with 1 queen master suite, 1 kids' room with pyramid bunk, and 1 full bathroom downstairs
    * 1 king master suite, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds, with 1 full hall bathroom upstairs
    * fully stocked kitchen

    Lots of extra amenities including:
    * hot tub
    * 6 bikes in the garage
    * fenced-in private backyard
    * canoe and kayak
    * fire pit surrounded by 3 hammock swings

Rick's Family Vacation

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Local restaurants, beach and intercostal area for the small children. The accommodations were also absolutely what we were looking for. They provided a large family area, separation so people could have their own private space, go for a bike ride or just hang out in the yard.

We enjoyed the stay, the property and the location. Easy access to the beach. We had 2 minor issues that the owner addressed immediately that did not affect our stay in any way. They were great to work with!

Perfect spot!

We love the location of this property! A quick bike ride to the Greenway and a short drive to the beach! Plus it is in the middle of excellent restaurants and attractions. Super clean home and has every thing we need for our stay, plus some! Spacious and roomy. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave! We will visit again!!

Great place with plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 teenagers. Wonderful backyard with fire pit, hammock swings and a new hot tub. Very friendly and responsive host.

A week in Serenity House OBX

Wonderful homey feel to Serenity House with beautiful amenities. The backyard is just paradise with the hot tub, fire pit and swings. The owner is very good about communicating. We absolutely loved our stay.

Short get away

We chose to stay in the outer banks as it was one of my brother’s favorite places. We were just there for the weekend to remember him. Lauralee was super responsive and so easy to work with. The house is plenty big enough for everyone to have their space. Lots of amenities and close to the ocean and sound.

Great place

It was spacious with room to spare! Host was attentive and easy to work with. Everything you need is at the house. We wish it wasn’t raining so we could’ve made use of the bikes, hammocks and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

Another fantastic trip!

The Serenity beach house keeps getting better and better! Every year we come back and the attention to detail, charm and hospitality Lauralee shows is above and beyond! We walked in to a clean, comfortable space for our family and had a wonderful time with our friends! Thanks for always making our vacation memorable.
