Beautiful house/ beautiful location

I think this house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. It was a nice, easy walk to the village and so close to the beach too (no huge hills!). We loved our stay!

Holiday Refreshment

We loved staying at the house which is set in the beautiful bushland around Killcare. There were lots of birds that serenaded night and day, decent coffee to be had from the local cafe and jetty fishing for our 14 year old. We were very rested when our holiday was completed.

Great Family Holiday House

This property has everything you need for a family holiday particularly with teens and early 20s children. Its light, quiet and spacious with lots of balconies if you want to escape from the family. Lots of big dining tables to accommodate all. Close to the beach and the bay. Would definely stay there again!

Lovely house in a great location.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect: right across the road from the beach and a short stroll down to Hardy's Bay. The house is very well presented and was very comfortable for our family. We would definitely return to this lovely house.

Beautiful house in perfect location

We loved staying at this property. It was spacious and very comfortable. Beautifully presented but the best thing was the location: a hop over to the beach and a short walk down to the village. Perfect get away!

Good Location

Very nice and practical house. Walking distance to bay and beach. No wifi or phone reception which is fine but good to know in advance .

Great Location

Great location being a short stroll to the beach. Rooms were lovely and comfortable although would suggest that the 2 downstairs rooms are more suited to children, not adults. The house had comfortable couches, a lovely fire and the kitchen had all amenities. If you want to be completely off grid, this property is just what you need as there is no wifi and limited phone reception. My group of girlfriends and I enjoyed our relaxed stay.

Great girls weekend

Great to stay here - so close to the beach and easy to get to dining options close by. Kitchen is well-kitted out so very easy to DIY. 4 bedrooms so for our girls weekend we could all have our own room. Lots of bathroos and toilets too Lovely to sit on the comfy longes in front of the gas fire in the evening Not great phone reception - the only minor downside.

Perfect beach house

This is my 10th time staying at No. 38 because the house and location are perfect. Short, level stroll to the patrolled area of the beach and the kiosk. Short walk to Hardys Bay (general store, coffee etc. Also surrounded by Bouddi National Park and its beautiful bushwalks and stunning secluded beaches. The house itself has everything one needs for a wonderful family holiday. I recommend it very highly.

Magic Spot

We have been having two weeks every summer at 38 Beach Drive - it takes a few minutes to walk to the beach, no need for a towel even!! You hardly need your car. The house is very comfortable and well loved and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a happy, relaxed holiday.

Perfect house

We were a family of five, my husband and I, our two adult children and their cousin from Germany. We spent a week over Christmas in the house, loved it! We were all comfortable, ample space for us all, great decks, back garden, amazing location less than five minutes from access to the dog friendly beach so our dogs loved it too. Note there is no boundary fence around the property. We would definitely stay again. The house is well maintained and everything worked really well, no complaints whatsoever. There isn't really a view of the ocean though, the trees opposite the house have grown up to almost cover the distant view. We cooked a turkey in the weber for Christmas Day, plenty of crockery and cutlery, the whole week was a success. Killcare's local cafes and a couple of lovely shops were a 10 minute walk away.

Excellent this house was everything we expected.

The house and kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable. The house was spacious. Although there was no fenced outdoor space for our dog he enjoyed being out on the front balcony watching all the other dogs passing by on their way to the beach. A large section of the beach is dog friendly and is a five minute walk from the house. Lovely distant views of the headland and ocean from the master bedroom. Plenty of internal and external space to spread out with four deck areas.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely stay at the beach house over a long weekend. The house was a perfect space for 2 couples, with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. The bedrooms upstairs are lovely and big, however the 2x rooms downstairs would be probably a bit small for additional adults. The phone service is a bit patchy but there is easy access to the beach and only a short walk to the surf club for dinner or afternoon drinks. We will be back but next time for longer!!

Blissful beach getaway

As a group of 10 friends, this house was the perfect setup for a weekend away close to the beach. A huge house with lots of rooms so despite it sleeping many, we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The ping pong table and large balcony were much used and we loved the convenient beach access. A truely relaxed place to stay and get away from it all for a couple of days. Would love to stay again!
