Casa unifamiliar, espectaculares vistas a la montaña, esquí a la puerta

Relájese en la privacidad de una casa unifamiliar durante su estadía en Sugarloaf, en la tranquila pero conveniente área de West Mountain. Disfrute de vistas espectaculares de toda la cordillera de Bigelow Mountain desde casi todas las habitaciones de esta casa de tres pisos y 2000 pies cuadrados.

Ubicado a unos 500 pies del West Mountain Trail, con condiciones normales de nieve, puede esquiar hasta la puerta en un sendero corto o tomar el autobús de enlace (solo en la temporada de esquí) directamente al área base del albergue. Llame al servicio de transporte para servicio gratuito a restaurantes y clubes en la noche. Raquetas de nieve o esquí nórdico desde la puerta o acceda al sistema de senderos acondicionados de 105 km del Centro al aire libre. La casa club de golf está a unos 10 minutos a pie.

El piso principal es cómodo y espacioso, casi completamente abierto, lo que permite una gran exposición al sol de invierno. La sala de estar cuenta con cómodos sofás y una gran estufa de leña que se puede abrir para ver el fuego como una chimenea. También en el piso principal se encuentran el área de comedor, cocina totalmente equipada, área de entrada y medio baño.


La casa: ingrese a la casa desde el porche y camine hacia el área de entrada. El piso principal de concepto abierto tiene la sala de estar, comedor, cocina y medio baño.

El nivel inferior tiene una habitación con dos camas individuales y una cama nido, un baño, una habitación familiar con futón doble y una sala de lavandería.

El nivel superior tiene dos habitaciones (cada una con una cama queen) y un baño.


West Mountain Chairlift & Shuttle bus: la silla West Mountain funciona los fines de semana y las vacaciones escolares, de 8:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m. Puede esquiar hasta la puerta ya sea que la West Mountain Chair esté funcionando o no.
Además, un autobús de enlace gratuito pasa por la casa en un horario (cada 20-30 minutos) de 8 a.m. a 5 p.m. los fines de semana y las semanas de vacaciones para llevarlo directamente al albergue base por la mañana o a restaurantes y tiendas en otros horarios .. También tiene un horario para otros días y horarios o está disponible llamando al 237-6853. ¡Deje su automóvil estacionado en el camino de entrada para toda su estadía!

Beautiful and cozy ski week

Our family and our friends family stayed comfortably here for the week. The home is beautiful and spacious. Kids had their own space in the lower level away from adults. We skied in and out onto the West Mountain Trail. Heads up that it’s a bit of work to get out and into the trail - requiring some skating. For little and boarders this will be a bit challenging. Home has everything needed for a comfy ski getaway. I’m bookmarking to stay here again.

Ski Getaway

The property was wonderful. Kitchen was open with all that we needed. Beds were comfortable. We loved the wood stove and rockers in front. House was neat and clean. We were blessed with some new snow and so had an excellent time skiing both alpine and cross country. Peter was responsive when there was 10 inches of snow falling. We recommend the place highly.

Amazing home for a ski getaway

Ski vacation stay with friends and this location did not disappoint! Plenty of room with multiple common areas and skiing support to lifts was also good. The house is well stocked and having a wood burning stove was great. The host was very responsive with answers to questions. We will be looking at this location again for our next Sugarloaf trip!

Wonderful stay!

Spring Skiing at Sugarloaf

This is a great ski house. It has breathtaking views and great light. It is beautifully appointed and has an excellent kitchen that is much better equipped than the usual rental. There is also a tuning bench in the utility room. We always bring our tuning gear but often there is not a warm , dry place to wax and sharpen our skis. The owners are clearly serious about skiing and have created a space to maintain gear. This is a ski off location. you can ski from the mountain to the dooryard. On weekdays the best route to skiing is a short shuttle bus ride from the foot of the driveway, leaving every half hour. Maybe next spring lifts will be running every day to get to the resort, this year it was ski on on weekends only. There is a wood stove and a freestanding gas fireplace. It's a big space with different places for small groups to form around fires or puzzles. The wifi works; there are multiple TV's. Warm, no drafts, plenty of hot water. Everything is about right for a ski vacation.

Charming house on the hidden jam of Sugaloaf West Mountain

Two families with teenagers just enjoyed a relaxing ski vacation here. The house is very welcoming and cozy, with open common space we could hangout. Nicely stocked kitchen made us felt like home. The internet connection was pretty good with all of our devices going at the same time. Other set up in the house are also very convenient and homey. It gave us the feeling of a well-loved house with a lot of stories. Peter the owner was very responsive to our questions. The snow plow service was also responsive. The location was not labeled as ski-in-and-out but we were pleasantly surprised it’s really convenient to get to the slope. First, there is shuttle service stop right in front of the house every half and hour to and from the base lodge. Second, we can hike a few minutes to the green trail right under the West Mountain Chair. Coming back there is a stretch of blue trail at the top but it is super fun coming down all the way on the long and wide slope. We all had a great time here.

Great West Mountain Home

We have been Sugarloafer's for 30+ years and have always stayed mid-mountain or off of Wiffletree. This was our first time staying at West Mountain and we were really pleasantly surprised at the location, convenience, and comfort. The house was wonderful and really sets up nicely for a family with adults and children who can be on a different level than the adult. The kids had their space and the adults had their own space. Getting to and from the mountain was easy and the entire home was really well stocked!! we would definitely book again.

Perfect spot to stay for a fabulous ski week!

We really enjoyed this particular location. It was private, quiet and close to the mountain. Loved the shuttle bus pick up and drop off! House had all of the necessary amenities, and more! The skiing was amazing! We were gifted 32" of snow graced our arrival...driveway was plowed and all! Hope to return again! Jill, Blaine and the fam..

A bit of Carrabassett magic

Great location. The photos of the views don’t do it justice. House was well stocked and very cozy. Proximity to all that Carrabassett has to offer is great! Only feedback I have is beds are not super comfy. Would stay again!

Very nice unit

I would recommend this to anyone looking for three bedrooms. It also has a couple of significant sitting areas. Very well lit with natural light. Big Kitchen allows multiple people to cook at the same time.

Perfect place for our getaway, 6 adults

The space is perfect for a ski vacation. The mud room keeps gear contained, and the living areas are well laid out and comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice! Would def stay there again. Oh, and the ski shuttle literally stops at the end of the driveway.

Family ski trip

It's the perfect Sugarloaf ski house. As Peter says you can ski in off the West Mt trail and the shuttle pulls up in front of the house every 30 min to get you to the base. Or on weekends you can ski to the West Mt chair. We've always stayed around the base but we would definitely stay here again.
