Updated retreat minutes from Sugarloaf

  • Open space, great rental for couples and small families (the bunk beds are low and made for children). It is equipped with everything you would need to enjoy all of the surrounding actives, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, biking, or just a relaxing getaway. It is located 8 miles (15mins) from Sugarloaf Mountain and directly on the snowmobile trailhead and connected to the Maine huts and trails system. This rental is just a walk down the hall from Tufulio's restaurant, bar, and happy tunes ski shop. Coin Laundry is located in the basement. Daily shuttle rides to and from the mountain.

Nice place, better than pictures

It was an enjoyable stay, only ten minutes away from sugar loaf. The apartment was clean and very comfortable.

Great little condo!

We just finished our second stay at this great affordable condo. You get a private bedroom and kitchenette for less than a hotel room at the resort. Eat at Tufulio’s without stepping outside! We’ll be back again.

Upon arrival with my wife about 8:30 pm the provided entry code was incorrect so could not unlock door. No cell service so could not call local help number (or 877 number from reservation) posted on the wall near the unit. Thinking we could login to the provided network name and password and then use WiFi calling BUT NO. Didn’t work either. Now we are thinking we got scammed. The unit is conveniently in the same building as the very good Trufulio’s restaurant. Inquiring there we were lucky that the rental unit manager was in the restaurant. He was able to call the owners and we found out the code we were given was wrong, it felt like they blamed us for having the wrong code! No apologies offered either. Glad we didn’t arrive at midnight, we would have been sleeping in the car. Later we figured out the provided network name was actually the password and the password provided was the UN. Arriving during the Olympics we were looking to tune in. No dice…. Had to stream using my phone and cables in my possession to finally relax about 10:00 pm having missed much of it. Unit was fine, mattress soft but got the job done. Furnishings very basic. Toilet runs. Best thing is Trufulios.

I liked that it was quiet. I didn't like that the WIFI kept going out. Also, though it was a unusually hot weekend air condtioning would have been nice.

Sugarloaf Vacation March 2021

Very clean with all the necessary appliances, bedding and bath needs. Owners were very prompt with their responses and provided all the necessary information for an easy arrival and stay.. Close to great restaurants, entertainment and skiing. Would stay there again.
