There are plenty of nature reserves to enjoy, including those at Blakeney Point (21 miles) where you can see the country’s largest grey seal colony, Snettisham (15 miles) and Titchwell (18 miles). The coast is just a short drive away, and there are plenty of beaches and seaside villages to explore, such as Wells-next-the-Sea (16 miles), Hunstanton (21 miles) and Cromer (29 miles). The famous estates of Sandringham (12 miles) and Holkham (18 miles) are within easy reach, or you could explore the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or head east to the Norfolk Broads.

The lounge area is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day out exploring the local area, with enough comfortable seating for three guests and a Smart TV which is ideal for streaming your favourite boxsets. The kitchen has all the designated chef of the day will need to lovingly prepare anything, from a light breakfast to a hearty evening meal – and there are three seats around the dining table when you’re ready to serve up. Completing the ground floor layout is a shower room with WC, ideal to revitalise those senses before you head out on more Norfolk adventures. Up the steep cottage-style staircase, you have a king-size room and a single room, both with ample storage space for any personal belongings.

Outside, you have a wonderful, enclosed area to enjoy, which is also perfect for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs. It is part gravel, part patio, with a decked area where you can dine alfresco using the furniture provided. Views of the owners’ sheep provide a fitting backdrop as you enjoy some cocktails as the sun goes down.
