Fun weekend playing in the River

Visiting family in town the place was absolutely perfect distance from town, great to have the family over with kids to play in the river, grill and have a bonfire. When we come into town next I will be looking for this place again!

Great Little Spot

The backyard was perfect. We loved the access to the river. The kitchen was well appointed. Beds were nice and firm. We had a great stay! Don’t miss Crazy Gals cafe in town for a great breakfast!

Cozy place by the river

This is a well maintained and equipped property. The internet speed at a location outside of the urban area is quite impressive. Fortunately, there was a nice stream of water in the river that the kids were able to enjoy by getting into the river not too far from the property. Search for swimming hole in maps for more directions. Overvall, a great place and we will visit again.

Fun in the water

Great little house right on the river! When we arrived the entry into the house and the wifi name/password did not match the instructions, the house also had not been cleaned since the last stay, but Vacasa had that remedied in less than 2 hours. The rest of our stay was great. The house had everything we needed. The evening and morning views off the patio were beautiful! It was a short drive to get to other sections of the river that had small waterfalls.

Get away

Nice house, needs some lamps but otherwise comfortable. Has all that is needed. Good place to party with nice deck and backyard. Property to river is hardley accessible.

Disappointed

The river was dry, and although I know that is no one’s fault, if someone had notified me a few weeks prior- I would have cancelled and chosen a different water friendly vacation for my grandchildren . When I called the day of arrival to notify someone at vacasa of my situation and to see if I could pay extra to relocate, I was told there was nothing available. I was then told that a manager from vacasa would call me back to see about a possible discount- however, no one ever called. I don’t know if vacasa and Vrbo are the same, but I think it would be helpful to be notified that the advertisement of floating the river is not accurate because there was little to no water at the time of our stay.

Great long weekend getaway

The property management company was easy to contact after checking in and discovering two issues with the property. The next day they had a maintenance person over to correct the issues for us, super helpful and fast! Everything was well stocked, clean, and in a quiet spot for us to relax.

Perfect spot for a weekend fishing trip with friends and family.

Awesome spot with easy access to the Llano River. House is very clean and comfortable, and the firepit and outdoor area is a perfect hangout spot.

Fun Getaway

We really liked the house and being so close to the river. Everything was perfect except for the yard. The grass needed to be mowed before we got there. When we asked when it would be mowed, we were told Thursday which was four days later. It was a little disappointing, but we still really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Long Weekend Away

We have never stayed in this area and I'm so glad we did. Longhorn Caverns and Inks Lake State Park were wonderful activities to keep us busy during the day. In the evening the children and adults enjoyed time splashing in the river behind the house. The house is clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. We felt very at home and were able to relax easily. The WiFi is spotty, but that I think is more about the location than a reflection on the owners. We would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend stay (wifi issues)

Internet service is LTE which dropped often. Don't expect reliable cell service or internet. Streaming to any of the TVs was almost impossible. Clean, nice and cozy. Had board games, travel sized toiletries and well stocked bathrooms and laundry room. It rained and when it stopped we weren't able to use the firewood because it was uncovered. Nice ambient lighting in back and ample seating throughout. We had mountain bikes but the outdoor storage shed was inaccessible to store them. Spider Mountain bike park is a 20 min drive. Short walk to the creek. Customer service was lacking when we reported internet issues. We were told there was nothing they could do about it.

Loved it!

It was a lovely home on the river. We loved everything about it but were nervous about letting our pups out as there were a couple of dogs off leash roaming around. The dogs were very sweet but our pups have no manners yet. We would definitely go back. It was relaxing and felt like home.
