Wir haben es sehr genossen, so viel Platz im Haus zu haben. Es war sauber und vollkommenen ausreichend ausgestattet.

This is a nice place to stay, close to the Cairngorms but away from the busyness of Aviemore. We enjoyed having the train just down in Kingussie for taking a day trip to Edinburgh. The house is as expected, but feels a little sterile. The neighborhood is quiet.

Urlaub in den Highlands

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Für Ausflüge ist es ideal gelegen, egal ob wandern am Loch an Eilean, SUP-Paddeln am Loch Morlich oder radeln entlang des Spey. Man benötigt allerdings ein Auto zur übernehmen kleinerer Strecken. Sehr empfehlenswert

Eine ruhige Lage, gut ausgestattete Küche, saubere große Zimmer, gute Badezimmer, viel Platz im Haus und Garten. Ein Kaminfeuer das etwas brauchte bis es funktionierte und dann war es gemütlich. Heizung und Warmwasser funktionierte durchgehend einwandfrei. Einzige Minuspunkte waren das alte abgerockte Sofa, der schmutzige Teppichboden im Erdgeschoß Schlafzimmer und der Schimmel in der Erdgeschoß Dusche... hier dürfte gerne nachgebessert werden.Ansonsten gern wieder.

Comfortable cottage in the Cairngorms

We enjoyed very much our stay at Sneuk Head. The cottage was clean (not spotless 😊, but clean), well equiped, and close to luxury as we were 3 so we had each a bathroom, though "only" 2 showers! On top of this, there are plenty of activities to do nearby, and the house is close to the A9 if you want to go further. The host was very responsive to the various questions we had and always very kind. All in all, we'd be very glad to come back there if we have another opportunity.

warm and welcoming

this is a well kept well maintained property there was lots of room for all the family, as described there was a beautiful view from the front of snow capped hills and a field of sheep from the back. The house seemed to have every thing we needed from a well stocked kitchen to toys and games for the kids. I also like the location, being just 15 minutes from Aviemore. All in all i would have no hesitation in recommending this property

Urlaub in drn Highlands

Das Haus war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. An- und Abreise sind flexibel und sehr einfach in der Handhabung. Das Haus liegt gut für Ausflüge in die Highlands, nach Inverness ( ca.1 Stunde), Perth (1 Stunde) oder Edinburg und Glasgow ( jeweils ca. 2 Stundrn)

Schönes Haus in traumhafter Gegend

Ich und mein Mann waren mit unseren beiden Hunden 3 Wochen hier. Das Haus ist groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt eigentlich alles was man braucht. Meinem Mann fehlte nur eine Kaffeemaschine :) Man hat alles was man braucht in der Nähe (Supermärkte, Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, Aktivitäten). Der Nationalpark ist wunderschön und man hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Das war unser Hauptgrund für den Urlaub. Aber auch nach Glasgow oder Edinburgh war es nicht zu weit für einen Tagesausflug. Man wohnt wirklich sehr zentral, um auch mal die ein oder andere Ecke von Schottland zu erkunden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Einfaches, aber sauberes Ferienhaus mit ausreichend Platz für 6 (!) Personen

Die Schlafgelegenheit für die siebte Person war eher mangelhaft als ausreichend. Ansonsten bietet das Ferienhaus ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Ein neueres Schlafsofa wäre nett für mehr als 6 Gäste. Die Ausstattung war sehr einfach aber sauber. Es war alles da, was man brauchte. Die Küche hätte etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, aber wir kamen zurecht. Ein Pluspunkt für die Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Lage als Ausgangspunkt für den Cairngorm Nationalpark ist perfekt. Der eingezäunte Garten war sauber und gepflegt und toll für die Hunde.

Great choice!

My family and I stayed at Sneuk Head Kingussie, in the Cairngorms - Scottish Highlands. It was a fantastic choice. It was clean, well-maintained and had great access to nearby attractions. We were thrilled with the location and had a wonderful time exploring the stunning scenery of the Highlands. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay, and the beds were comfortable and cozy. We also appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made the accommodation feel like a home away from home. Overall, I would highly recommend this Vrbo accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location make it a great choice for families, couples or solo travelers. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future

Beautiful area,beautiful house

we came from Spain with a lot of enthusiasm and it does not disappointed,we recommended this house without doubt,above all for families.The area around the house is fantanstic,the nearest town,Kingussie is a beautiful place for visit and for walking and you can go to the most incredible places such ,as Aviemore or Inverness or to visit the Cairngorm Park or mountain...very near from the house. The house has got all facilities that you expect or more..and the owner solved one little problem that we had very fast . All fantastic,the house and the area arround,very recommended! Gloria.

Best places to stay in Highlands

Convenient location to visit the Lochs And the national park Family friendly house and neighbourhood, if travelling with kids and grandparents. Very good facilities inside the house with downstairs bedroom with enusite and separate WC downstairs. Location of the house and veiws are amazing. Good wifi connectivity Mike the owner always available for help and advice. Fantastic host. Thanks Mike. Highly recommendable and will not hesitate to visit again .

Highlands on hand

A nice place within easy reach of great outdoors. Also handy for the settlement of Kingussie, which was perfect.

Beautiful property with stunning views. Lots to do and fabulous walks with amenities close by.

Would definitely recommend. Lot's of walks for dogs and people alike. Will definitely be returning

It was a lovely spacious property in a fantastic location in the highlands .

It was a very comfortable spacious and well equipped house. We enjoyed our stay very much . Sadly our adult children could not be with us as expected but hope we can come again another time as a whole family .
