We loved this home. The house was very clean and well kept. Its an older home that is one of the best built homes i have ever been in. We loved watching the buggies go bye. The host went above and beyond with amenities and supplys. I cant rhink of one negative about our stay. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

The home was very clean, beds were comfortable for the entire family, and the location was ideal for our activities. The dining area is spacious and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful planning for travelers, with a coffee bar and plenty of linens in the bathrooms. If we head that way again, I will return happily to the Mine Ridge House.

Beautiful spacious home with everything we could need for a week away! Even little extras like cell chargers and lightweight throws on the couch if the A/C got too cool. Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful time at The Brick House near Strasburg. I was looking for a place that would give my husband and my in-laws some space and comfort, this house worked well for us. It was more than we wanted! We had three bedrooms, a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a grill to use - which we did to make dinner one night.

Amish Paradise

The house was amazing! It was super clear and had all the necessities plus extras! I loved hearing the clip clop of horse hooves as the locals drove by in their carriages. The king bed upstairs was so comfortable! My daughter said her bed was comfortable, too. Lavina was awesome with communication and even checked in with us after a bad storm. If I am in the area again, I would certainly stay here again!!

A very neat, clean, carefully decorated cute home in an Amish area. We loved it. Perfect as an extra accommodation for family visiting during the Christmas holiday. Way better than staying in a hotel! Hosts were great!! We will return!

Beautiful Home

Lavina's home is absolutely beautiful. It is in a great location, and offers many amenities. Our children enjoyed the kiddie table with games, puzzles, and coloring books. They also enjoyed watching all the horses go by. We rate this home 10/10.

Wonderful place to explore Lancaster County

We had an incredible at this place! The house is historic and beautifully renovated. The photos are exactly like the listing. All 3 of us got our own bedroom. Lavina is the consummate host - she was very communicative and even gave us a ride the morning of our departure! Could not recommend this place any higher.

Immaculate

We had a wonderful stay. It was very cozy and comfortable. The owner thought of everything of what a guess would need. That speaks volume of how the owner thinks and cares about her guest. We truly enjoyed our time and can’t thank them enough in making us feel like if it was our own. Beds were amazing and the sheets were so soft. Truly appreciate it and we can’t wait to come back and stay here in the future.

Perfect stay

Our stay was to attend a family wedding near by. We were 2 married couples and our 88 year old father. Lavina sent all of the pertinent information ahead of our stay. The house is very comfortable, very clean, and well provisioned. We appreciated the bottled water in the fridge and the coffee.

Lovely

I loved our stay, the only thing that bothered us was that we realized that the water level in the shower on the second floor did not provide much water, even more when the washing machine was being used. I would also recommend that they put a shower in the first floor were is the half bathroom. Because when you are in group of more than 5 people, it takes time to wait for the shower. Otherwise it is an excellent clean house and everything you need is close at hand. Thanks for your so much.
