“The accommodation was very impressive, extremely well equipped and immaculately clean with lovely extra's of snacks and freshly baked bread. The Alexa system was so easy to use and the shower was lovely. The only downside was that the deposit taken the day before arrival was more than the booking, so looking forward to getting that back a.s.a.p. and the twin beds were a bit smaller than a normal single bed. I would highly recommend this property to others as it is high quality accommodation.”

“The property was lovely and very cosy. I took milk and coffee with me but there was already coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and water supplied. Take essentials with you cos it's a single lane along the countryside and, it's a trek to the nearest shop. It has beautiful views through all the windows and there was a beautiful waterfall just a 10 minute walk from the property. The host was very friendly and replies fast. My sister was unwell on the morning of checkout and the host was extremely...

“Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush.”

“Perfect location and all the amenities Off Road parking Very clean and good size with private outdoor space”

“Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

“Good location just a couple of minutes from the lakeside. Parking place certainly helps in this popular location. Clean, comfortable property that has everything that you would need.”

“The fantastic Howgills Apartments are in the quiet, calm and delightful Bainbridge Road, at just 2 minutes' walk from the town centre of Sedbergh. The apartments are in excellent condition, very comfortable, warm and inviting and come furnished with everything you could wish for, including tea and coffee supplies. The sofas are comfortable, and great for relaxing with a TV provided and there's an excellent kitchen area with large fridge and freezer so you can even "cook at home", buying fresh...

“Small but cosy. Excellent location in beautiful area with direct access to hiking routes. Friendly folks, convenient parking, dogs can freely play and swim right next door. No airco or stove/hub. Loads of peace and quite, but occassionally noisy motorcycles on the road in front. Great stay for hiking couples!”

“Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am.”

“There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!”

“Nice apartment (Big), perfect location. Clean and tidy Parking is confusing as theres a space for no.2 but we're told have to move by 9:30?”

“Fantastic location so close to the restaurants, shops and lake. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Great communication from the host. Will be booking again. ”

“We loved our stay here, it's perfectly located 5 minutes walk into Bowness and 20 minutes into Windemere.Communication between Liam and us was fab, you couldn't ask for more, although you didnt see him, you knew he was on hand. The apartment is nice, I needed to work a few days and the wifi was good enough to handle this really well.Although the apartment is a little tired, it has everything you need for a perfect stay.I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great little place in a prime location in a fantastic location. The layout is quirky but part of the charm and a wonderful view from the sitting / dining / kitchen area”

“ Convenient location close to train station, bus departures, supermarket and start of shopping and restaurant streets. Small room with adequate ensuite and character to decoration.”

“This was a beautifully maintained property and the description undersells just how nice this place is. I only wish I could have spent more time there.”
