Clean hotel with great staff

Lovely hotel with friendly staff

Great location and the hotel had very helpfull staff who made my stay complete . I enjoyed the wide selection of gin available from the bar downstairs

Kirkcaldy stay

Clean and comfortable room. However, there was a party on directly below our room until after midnight, so we took time to get to sleep.

Great hotel with a trendy bar

Very spacious room with modern decor , I really enjoyed the bar area with its selection of gins and beers and a great atmosphere The wifi worked great and the bed was super comfy overall we had a great nights stay and would return if we ever visit the area again

Great hotel with very comfy rooms

Very comfy room with easy access to the city centre . The staff were very helpfull and advised us to use the big car park directly behind the back of the hotel. The bar area is very lively and shows live sports on the big screens amd also has a pool table & dart board which we found very usefull

Le immagini della camera non corrispondono a quella che ci è stata data. Tutte le sere c'era musica ad alto volume fino a tarda sera (12:30am circa). Non hanno mai rifatto la stanza ne cambiato gli asciugamani.

Das schlechteste Hotel das ich je hatte

Wir buchten zwei Zimmer: Zimmer 1 konnte nicht bezogen werden da kein Schlüssel vorhanden war, ersatzweise wurde für eine Nacht die Familiensuite angeboten. Bei dieser musste erst die Türe repariert werden, da diese weder eine Klinke zum öffnen hatte und außerdem schief in den Angeln hing. Nach der Rückkehr vom Abendessen konnte die Tür nicht geöffnet werden. Das Personal konnte nur Abhilfe schaffen, in dem sie über die Dachterrasse durch das Fenster einstiegen und die Tür von innen öffneten. Um ca. 1:30 Uhr nachts wollte eine Fremde Person über die Dachterrasse in das Zimmer einbrechen, nur durch lautes Schreien konnte dieses verhindert werden. Nach einer schlaflosen Nacht und massiver Beschwerde am nächsten Tag wurde ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen. In diesem fehlte der Türgriff zum Bad/WC aber immerhin konnte die Haupttür verschlossen werden. Der Lattenrost des Bettes war nur ein zusammengewürfeltes Holzkonstrukt das wir zuerst zusammenstellen mussten. Bei Zimmer 2 konnten die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden, da die Fensterrahmen beim letzten Anstrich komplett bei geschlossenen Fenstern gestrichen wurden und somit nicht mehr geöffnet werden konnten. Somit war das Lüften dieses Zimmers nicht mehr möglich.

Very comfy hotel, Close to the city centre

Walking distance to the Beach front and also the main attractions in town . Very clean rooms and overall a great night

No breakfast. Very loud music all night !

The manager was a nice guy but have to say the whole experience was not good ... advertised as including breakfast but that wasn't the case , very disappointing . The room was big and freshly painted with new carpet however there were many faults... t.v. was broken. Window smashed and boarded up, the bunk bed had no ladder to top bunk , bathroom mirror and shower screen had splash marks , the tea and coffee facilities was a kettle! No mugs , tea coffee etc . Meaning we had to get up and go out to get a hot drink couldn't even get one in the restaurant downstairs. The worst thing however was that we knew the accommodation was a pub but not aware that there would be extremely loud music playing until well into the early hours both nights we stayed ! The accommodation would probably suit young singles out on a party weekend but no good for families!

Could’ve been better

During check in there was nothing to say I had booked, there was no floor mat for the shower, plus the shower took a while to Heat up, toilet was leaking, there wasn’t enough toilet roll, flies in the room and after requesting a hair dryer still didn’t receive it

Puro squallore

Stanza per famiglia di quattro persone, con due letti matrimoniali. Uno dei due con struttura metallica che supportava un ulteriore letto singolo a castello. Quest’ultimo era traballante e cigolante, ogni movimento nella notte era una sveglia garantita. Check in alle sei di sera per non trovare in camera neanche gli asciugamani. Alle nove ne hanno portati due: uno grande e uno piccolo bucato e sporco. Più tardi ne sono arrivati altri tre: uno per uso tappetino, un altro sporco e uno regolare. Nella vasca non c’era un gancio per fissare la doccia. Nel bagno non c’era un gancio per appendere gli asciugamani (una volta arrivati). In stanza c’era la tv, ma l’antenna era scollegata. Il vetro di una finestra era rotto e chiuso con un pezzo di cartone. C’era il bollitore dell’acqua ma non c’erano tazze, the, zucchero... in generale un’impressione di squallore. La colazione? Boh. Abbiamo chiesto di farla alle otto ma a quell’ora il locale era deserto. Abbiamo lasciato la chiave e, nonostante il breakfast fosse già pagato, ce ne siamo andati.

Nice enough hotel, Only encountered one member of staff who was very friendly, only issue was us not having towels when checking in but no real hassle as they got them to us as soon as they could, was told they were running behind on cleaning the rooms which is understandable so cant complain at all. A nice small place in a reasonably quiet area.

Work being done to hotel once this is done it should be a great improvement. Staff very helpful and breakfast was very good.

I arrived at hotel after a very long journey to be told the room that i had booked was no longer available he told there would be a single room for me free of charge which was fine when i got up to the room there was no number on door and disnt lock so i had no key he got someone to come and look at door and obviously there waa no key for door as i has asked him a few times all my belongings were in rhe riom i went down to resturaunt for something to ear so was there for a few hours didnt get a key for my room or outside doir when i came baxki couldnt get in to hotwl as no kne was there and hadnt been given any key for my room or front door of premises had to walk the streets until 10.30 mostly all night before i could get in to recieve my belongings hadnt even slept in bed this is unacceptable and im looking for compensation for this what if sometging had happened to me when having to walk about all night in a strange town so this is not acceptable unless i get compensarion foe my experiance will never ever use ur company again and wont asvise anybody else to either so look forward to hearing ur reply

We ended up in front of a hotel definitely closed. Expedia should check before booking because we ended up with no accommodations.

Expedia did not inform us that hotel was closed. Had to book a more expensive room in another hotel. Won't use Expedia again

Not expensive

Rooms are being renovated. Handworkers do not seem very skilled however (at best, approximative finitions). Corridors, stairs and breakfast room dark and still to be removed. Personnel very kind.
