Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful time with our family and would recommend this house for a large family. There was plenty to do around the house and it was a short walk to the beach.

2023 Family Vacation

I can't say enough about this perfect vacation home. The personal touches from games, pool, pool house, location to the beach and decorative rooms exceeded my expetations. We have been to many beaches through the years and this is our favorite home to stay in. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

was good we had to sweep and mop floors when we got ther lots of dog hair and dirt on the floor some lights and and a ceiling fan didnt work my daughter slipped on the stairs and hurt her foot and anckle but the pool was nice and like the out door showers to keep all the sand and dirt out of the house

A much needed vacation for our family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were fortunate that we were able to rent this house in May 2019 and loved it so much, that we scheduled it for May 2020. We loved it so much, we recommended it to my brother in law and they came in August 2019. We lost my Mother in September 2019 and then COVID hit, so we had to reschedule to May 2020. My husband lost his twin brother in a tragic accident, he was missing for 3 weeks before we found him after searching day and night. OUR FAMILY NEEDED A VACATION. Just some time to get away and reflect over the last year and a half. Our 3 adult children and spouses were able to join us. We appreciate the nice grassy yard and the house has everything we needed. Thank you to the Bennett family for sharing it with us. We will definitely be returning.

Great Location & Cleanliness

This house was great for our family vacation of 6 adults and 2 kids under 5. Location was very convenient with very short walk to beach access. House was very clean and thoroughly stocked with supplies. AC had issues one evening and someone was there the next day to fix it, which was appreciated. Would rent again and recommend to anyone looking for a convenient walk to the beach in a well-kept house. We also enjoyed having the crow’s nest for watching sunrises and sunsets!

Luxurious Beach Home close to the ocean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really loved this home. The owners obviously take great pride in their home and have furnished it beautifully. The decor was very tasteful and it was furnished with nice furniture instead of junk, like some rentals.It was a quick walk to the beach and we also loved the pool and hot tub. Having an elevator was a lifesaver! Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working properly upon our arrival, but someone came to the house right away to take a look at it. It couldn’t be repaired during our stay, but other than that, we have no complaints. Everything was clean and organized. I love how all the kitchen cabinets were labeled so you didn’t have to look everywhere to find something. Also, the owners provided and stocked the kitchen with supplies, as well as the bathrooms. I always bring lots of stuff, but found that I didn’t even need to use it. It was like being in paradise!!

Great overall family house...just needs a little attention

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had three generations for a much-needed family vacation, celebrating birthdays and seeing each other after many long months. It was a great house with plenty of room. My father-in-law has Alzheimer’s and the elevator was the only way he could get up and down, so it was a great help. We were however very disappointed in the rental company, I emailed them 3 times and never heard back from them. I know they received it as I had 2 different companies show up unannounced to deal with two of the issues. The house had many broken amenities that need to be thrown out and replaced. Things like the umbrellas for the pool are broken and there is no other form of shade back there. My adult sons was very disappointed in the fact that all the surf and skim boards were broken as that was a huge plus for picking this house. Several of the Adirondack chairs at the pool are broken and it’s dangerous to keep them as you go to sit down thinking the chair is fine. Most of the beach chairs need to be thrown away. The grill was totally disgusting and we had to give it a really good cleaning before we could use it. Many of the pans are missing their finish and are not safe to use. Many of the bikes needed to be fixed up so we could use them, some of the tires are very dry rotted and we were afraid they would pop. I could go on but the only other thing I will say was how the office handled our power outage. (we had a big rain storm) The paper said to call them so I called and they said they weren’t aware of anything and would look into it and get back to me. They didn’t... I called them back and a different lady said she needed to speak to her supervisor and got back on the phone and said it shouldn’t be out long but there not the power company and I’d have to call them. I did... And had none of the information the power company required. Very frustrating! We also thought they should disclose the fact that they have lots of cameras watchin

Great family vacation with our adult kids!!

So many of the reviews said this house was close to the ocean, clean, and comfortable and they are all right! This house was perfect for us, our three adult sons, and two daughter-in-laws!! We came here from NJ, Oregon, and Washington for a much needed family get together. Plenty of space for us all to hang out together along with also having privacy when we wanted. My husband and I took the master bedroom on the 3rd floor (with the amazingly big bathroom) and everyone else had the 2nd floor for their rooms. We enjoyed everything this house had to offer and it had a lot! Basketball net, pool with plenty of lounge chairs and floats, pool table, ping pong table, surf boards, hot tub, beautiful views from the decks, and so much more. The labels on the kitchen cabinets and the beach carriers to put our chairs in were so helpful. Everything was clean and decorated in a way that made us feel right at home. Thank you so much for allowing us to use this great space!

They have a full kitchen, with pots, pans, silverware, glass dishes and more. They do provide clean sheets and towels. There is one thing that that needs to be changed on the profile regarding the beds. They have 3 king beds, one full and 4 twin beds. The pool is a a perfect size for a party of 8-10 people. This is a perfect walk to the beach and the 2 outside showers were a great plus. Overall we would for sure stay there again!

Since this was our first home rental and we booked so far in advance we did check periodically to make sure all was still OK and each time they were understanding and courteous. A great team and they make you feel at home. The home "paradise" was awesome. Plenty of room for everyone. We look forward to our next trip to Kitty Hawk.

First Timers to OBX

We loved the house and the access to the beach was amazing! The pool was really nice, after going to the beach for the day! I can tell you, we will definitly be back. The garbage collection in the back for the Mattress Firm was not great, but we only noticed it once or twice. Maybe something can be worked out about that. thanks again, had a great time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Super location

Property met expectations. Unfortunately Hurricane Dorian arrived and cut the visit short by 4 days.
