“This review will not do justice to the wonderful gem we found at the Dorp. A most unlikely spot as you climb the very steep hill but an oasis of pleasure awaits you. The high ceilings made it cool during our summer visit. The main lounge is beautifully set out with a wide range of tables and chairs to suit couples and larger groups. We had a room with a spectacular view of Table Mountain. The building included a shared communal space perfect for relaxing away from the main hotel with a card...

“Nice boutique hotel in an excellent location. They let you have breakfast at some nearby restaurants, which is really great. It has 3 restaurants downstairs that are also good for dinner or drinks. We had some issues with cleanliness at our room but they were solved immediately by their staff. Everyone is nice and helpful.”

“Quiet and comfort! I slept well for the first time in a year. I really liked this hotel. Had a quiet room facing table mountain, a lovely tub (no water restriction at this time) and managed to have a restful night's sleep. Walkable distance to where I needed to be. Breakfast was incredible and chef accommodated my order (half-sized breakfast). Alternative milk options are available. And lovely and accommodating staff. All round a great spot to stay.”
