Authentic place

A good place in Haad Rin which have some of the old spirit left. Stay here instead of the flashy soulless resorts. The staff is great. Close to Backyard after party.

Straff was really really friendly!! Nice to stay on the full moon. Little bit to much ants in the room it was on the bed but couple of nights it is okej

Bra läge på full moon stranden. Trevlig personal å bra mat på restaurangen. Annars rätt låg standard...men ok för det priset.

Super Aufenthalt

Das Resort: Gute Lage, 1Minute zu Fuß vom Strand und von allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Das Restaurant ist sehr günstig und trotzdem echt gut. Personal: Sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Der beste Kellner den ich in Thailand gesehen habe. Das Zimmer: Sehr sauber und sehr groß für den Preis. Vor allem das Badezimmer. Dadurch das die Zimmer alle von Bäumen umgeben sind ist es in unserem Zimmer obwohl wir keine Klimaanlage hatten den ganzen Tag sehr schön kühl gewesen. Einziger Kritikpunkt man kann die Fenster nicht gut öffnen. Aber im ganzen Zimmer sind an der Decke Lüftungsschlitze mit Mückengittern wodurch das Zimmer gut belüftet ist. Alles in allem war das das beste Resort in dem wir in Thailand geschlafen haben.

Decent place for party

Most importantly, this place is not where Google Maps thinks it is. The location is no better or worse, but it's important as it makes is a bit tricky to find. (Head towards Cocohuts and you'll see it.) Basic bungalow place, like most on the Thai islands. Staff was pretty good and the restaurant is remarkably cheap. It's very close to the full moon party beach, so if you're coming for the party great, if not, go elsewhere (not Haad Rin) as the loud music goes all night. Oh and they charge you for towels and bedsheets that get body paint on them, so be careful. Bring mosquito spray.

Utterly disgusting

I find it hard to write anything positive about the place besides being in very close proximity to haad rin beach (full moon party). We stupidly payed slot of money for an upgraded room with air con which was supposedly 'a luxury room' but I'm not sure what's luxury about a room with cockroaches, blocked drains, a bed which is as hard as the floor and a room that doesn't get cleaned for the duration of your stay. That's right, you apparently have to ask for your room to be cleaned and even then you aren't given fresh towels or sheets and at one point refused toilet roll! We got food poisoning from the cheap, recooked dirty restaurant downstairs which had us ill for the time we were there. The waitress bought us a dirty plate out and proceeded to wipe the uncleaned food off with her thumb, seriously. One staff meme her had us believing we were his best friend when we arrived, although we quickly realised this is just a front for his slyness. Absolutely disgusting customer service from him, ignored and looked at by him as if we've personally wronged him which isn't how you treat guests that have payed so much for what we got. The wifi doesn't work in the room, only in the restaurant. Wouldn't suggest hiring a scooter from them, it's cheap but they'll try catch you out on your return with scratches that were there beforehand. Place is really loud which isn't their fault but I guess it just makes a terrible place even worse. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very Disappoint Hotel!

The goodthings is only location to fullmoon party. The staff of restaurant quite good and price of food is reasonable. I booked beach air room but the location is not different from hill room because location still stay in the hill! Room Amenities are only desk, no soap, shampoo, even blanket. They need money deposit with your real ID card or passport!

Wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt in diesem "Hotels" direkt nach der Ankunft abbrechen. die Zimmer waren nicht so ausgestattet, wie beschrieben. Die Sauberkeit, wenn man überhaupt davon reden kann, war nicht vorhanden! Der Duschkopf war mit Kot beschmiert, sowie die Toilette. Zudem war die Toilettenbrille zerbrochen. Die Bettlacken waren überseht mit Flecken und definitiv nicht frisch. Die Aircondition funktionierte nicht. Um das Bungalow war überall Müll,wo sich Fliegen und sonstige Tiere tummelten.Die Türen waren nicht komplett abschließbar,so dass diese Tiere im Zimmer sich vegnügen konnten.Auf die Spalte in der Tür angesprochen,teilte der Hotelmitarbeiter,es sei moch nicht fertig.Beim Check-in jedoch sagte der Rezeptionist,das Hotel gäbe es seit 15 Jahren.So sah das Inventar auch aus. Um gesundheitliche Risiken zu vermeiden beschlossen wir nicht dort zu bleiben.Wir haben uns für ein anderes Hotel entschieden und mussten nun 162€mehr zahlen als wir schon gezahlt haben. Für diese Beträge hätten wir direkt ein 5* Resort mit Verpflegung haben können!Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen,dass dieses Hotel,wenn man es so bezeichnen kann,denn diese Locatin ist bestenfalls ein Hostel,3* hat.diese Situation durch falsche Aussagen und den inakzeptabelen Zustand des Bungalows hat uns nicht nur den halben Tag gekostete,wir mussten auf eigene Faust ein neues Hotel finden, es hat uns auch sehr viel Nerven und Geld gekostet.Wir fühlen uns durch Hotels.com im Stich gelassen.

Hôtel composé d'un ensemble de petite Villa vautré dans la montagne, le tout dans un milieu agréable. Ceci dit, les installations sont vétustes, en décrépitudes...

Friendly staff, nice views of bay

From checking in to checking out the staff were all very friendly and willing to help with any situation. From booking a return boat trip to recommending a nice quiet beach on the other side of the island, friendly and helpful.

Never again but would visit for a drink.

Staff were really nice but accommodation was terrible. Made us pay for a sheet which was apparently stained with ink despite everything already being dirty or stained. We moved rooms due to bug infestation only to move to another with a worst infestation. As we check out the management tried to tell us we broke the door lock despite it working perfectly fine the entire stay and the key was returned. Did not receive key deposit back due to just one sheet which we had to barter down from a higher price. Will not say again but bar / restaurant and vibe of place was really cool, need to be more honest with customers and also heavy maintenance is needed on their cabins. Over priced was not worth the money paid. People on yabba were also their but did not see myself.

Middle of the road

Great location and amazing staff, but let down by the accommodation standards. Stayed in cheaper that have been better. But all in all good spot for a few days

Wouldn't visit again

The hotel has a good location, but it's not where it's shown on the map, which makes finding it rather difficult. The bungalow was alright, but there was a screaming ghekko inside, disturbing my sleep. There is no WiFi in the bungalows, only in the restaurant. They have quite high prices, should you damage a towel or something, but at least those prices are fixed and available on a chart. Also, they keep your passport as a deposit.

They give us a room and there are antz in the bathroom, Also in the room. They never clean the room in the 4 days of our Stay. No wifi in the room. And the staff was Very agressive With us.

Enligt kartan stämde inte placeringen och vi vandra runt massor i onödan men när vi väl hittade rätt blev vi lite chockade att thailändaren i receptionen bott i Sverige 22år och talade svenska vilket drog upp betyget direkt! Trevlig personal i restaurangen och god mat. Området kring bungalowerna var väldigt mysigt. Skönt med egen hängmatta på altanen . närheten till fullmoon beachen och lugnare stranden på andra sidan var perfekt.
