En mi opición mala relación calidad-precio
Está muy bien si necesitas quedarte próximo al muelle. Ha sido el hotel más caro que he reservado en mi viaje a Tailandia y sin embargo ha sido el que menos me ha gustado, el único que no tenía servicio de recepción 24 horas, tampoco caja de seguridad,sin embargo un aviso de que en caso de que pierdas la llave de la habitación deberás pagar X baths, me pregunto: además de pagar la multa por pérdida de la llave, ¿te quedas sin dormir esa noche en la habitación? ya que no hay nadie en recepción ni un teléfono de urgencias. No ha sido mi caso, pero me ha sorprendido porque en el resto de hoteles de Tailandia no he visto nada parecido. En resumen, no está mal, pero mala relación calidad precio, tampoco desayuno, y al lado del hotel no abren hasta las 8:00 AM, yo antepuse el A/C, no he pasado tanto calor en las islas como para que sea un factor determinante, recomiendo coger un bungalow en koh Tao. El personal de recepción agradable.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Ananda Villa while in Koh Tao. I like that it is nice and close to the dive shop that I dive with, that it is in the quieter part of town, super close to the ferry (no taxi needed), so many great places to eat in the area and of course endless options for a good massage plus the staff are super friendly and helpful. The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't really anywhere to sit on their beach... there isn't access to chairs/lounges - which is the downfall. They have a beautiful spot with a beautiful view and you can't really enjoy it unless you bring along your towel and find a spot and take a seat on the stairs. There is a place to sit and relax if you participate in the services of the restaurant - Breeze - wish this was different!

Convenient and good value
The location was perfect for us - right next to our dive shop and the pier. I think it’s great value for the money. Staff was nice and allowed us to store our bags after checkout before we moved on.

*Amazing customer service received from receptionist - switched rooms to newer building for stronger A/C *Tip: request upstairs corner room with ocean view Laundry service was excellent and same price as anywhere nearby. We stayed 5 nights to dive with Master Divers (short walk down the street) and would happily stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is far enough away from the main street to allow quiet. It is close to dining and activities. The sunsets are spectacular.

Would stay here again
We really enjoyed our stay at Ananda. The staff was helpful and the location was great. We were just a two-minute walk from the ferry and close to the main street with shops and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable.

Tolle Anlage, nette Gastgeber,gepflegter Strand
Super Aufenthalt! Ganz tolle Gastgeber. Man kann das Hotel in 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Pier erreichen. Alles notwendige in der Nähe. Einzige Minuspunkte: die Bar ist ein wenig laut, allerdings nur bis ca 23 Uhr und die Dusche hätte etwas mehr Wasserdruck drauf haben können. Sind aber minimale Mankos, wir kommen wieder!

ロンプラヤの船着場から歩いて3分ほどの好立地にある。周囲にはレストラン、マッサージ店が充実。目の前はビーチだが、水は綺麗ではない。船着場となっているため騒がしくもある。いろいろなツアーの発着点となっている船着場なので便利。従業員は大変感じがよく親切。部屋は広く快適。ベッドも広く快適。夜は波の音が聞こえる。エアコンの効きも良い。シャワーのお湯も問題ない。部屋にセーフティボックスはないが、フロントにはある。のんびり過ごすより、街歩きを楽しんだりツアーに参加する方にはお勧めできる。

ビーチと船着き場が至近
ラクジュアリーホテルではないが、部屋は明るく清潔で広く、ビーチは目の前。周りにもレストランやマッサージ屋が何件もあって便利。ビーチ沿いに歩いていけば、サイリービーチにも１５分くらいで行ける。島を朝６時のフェリーで出発しなければいけなかったので、船着き場の近くの宿をと思ってここにしたけれど、やっぱりそうしてよかった。船着き場まで徒歩２分。よい宿でした。

Perfection in every way!
I have been traveling for over a month visiting many locations throughout Asia. My trip to Koh Tao was spectacular and Ananda Villa was a big part of that reason. It’s proximity to the pier makes it so convenient to find and the atmosphere it projects makes you feel like you are light years away from the pier. The staff is amazing because they do everything to ensure you have a friendly, peaceful and relaxing stay. Inside the rooms are very nice. They are extremely clean, supplied with thoughtful “extra amenities (beach towels, umbrellas, etc), spacious and most room if not all have a partial view of the beach. The “vibe” has f the hotel is one of tranquility, which made my stay completely amazing. Thank you!

Room with a view
This hotel was fantastic!! The view from my room was amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were friendly and helpful. I like staying at this side of town vs Sairee Beach - a little quieter and close to the dive shop I was with. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Koh Tao

Gorgeous hotel on the beach
I absolutely loved my all-too-short stay here. I was able to check in several hours early which is always a good start. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My room was large, bright, well-furnished and spotless with a spacious balcony with a brilliant view of the beach. I love that they provide beach blankets, a tote bag, laundry basket and a torch. Breeze restaurant next door serve good food although the menu was not extensive. It is right on the beach. Pranee's kitchen on the other side of the hotel served very tasty and reasonably priced Thai food. There are also many other places just walking distance down the small side streets.

Friendly staff, close to pier and dive schools
This hotel is literally the first hotel on the beach next to the ferry pier. It was super convenient because we didn’t have to pay taxi fare to to and from town. The staff was friendly and the room was spotless. Cleaning staff was cleaning all day, including the windows and stairwell. The beach directly in front of the hotel was not great to swim in as a dive school has buoys set up for students to practice, but there’s a nice quiet beach area 0.2 miles up the beach.

Near pier, cheap and clean
The hotel is very near the pier. Less than 3 min walk away. The exterior looks pretty and modern. Interior is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly too.

Great place to base yourself if diving in Tao
Great choice if wanting to stay in Mae Haad area and dive. Lots of restaurants in vicinity so don't really have to go to Sairee Beach area for amenities (which costs between 200 to 400 bht) Only complaint was there didn't seem to be a way to contact reception after 9pm and before 9am

Sehr sauberes Hotel direkt am Fähranleger!
Dieses Hotel liegt nur wenige Meter vom Fähranleger entfernt. Der Strandbereich ist zwar innerhalb des Wasser mit kleinen Bojen vom Anlegerbereich abgegrenzt, aber baden würde ich hier nicht, da die rostigen Boote (wer weiß, was da alles an Öl etc. ausläuft) keine 20m entfernt liegen. Trotzdem ist der Strand sauber. Restaurant, Souvenirläden und Supermärkte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Laut ist es im Hotel trotzdem nicht. Wir haben auf jeden Fall tief und fest geschlafen. Nur die Klimaanlage hat uns fast erfrieren lassen. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss das letzte vor dem Strand und wirklich absolut pikobello sauber. Kostenloses Wasser, Kaffee und Tee waren vorhanden, wurden von uns aber nicht genutzt. Der Service war zwar wirklich sehr freundlich aber bei Ankunft lief im kleinen Rezeptionsbereich ein Fernseher, wo wohl gerade zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Lieblings-Arzt-Serie des gesamten Personals lief. Alle saßen da uns glotzen TV und sprachen nicht. Das war irgendwie skuril aber nicht weiter schlimm. Beim Buchen des Fährtransfers und einer Bootstour wurden wir dann wieder sehr freundlich und kompetent beraten. Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht (das Frühstück im Coconut-Monkey ist sehr zu empfehlen), deshalb kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Alles in allem war das Hotel absolut tip top in Ordnung! Solange man hier keinen Strandurlaub plant.

Clean and very beautiful room
The room is so beautiful, clean, and cozy more than I expected, especially the balcony which you can relax and see the view there. The hotel is near the pier and many shops, but it's not crowded. Recommend for a couple, family, or someone who needs the relax holiday.

Convenient and clean hotel.
Very friendly staff. Nice room with balcony and view of beach/harbour. Good choice of freshly prepared food for breakfast along with fresh fruit juice and tea or coffee from Pranee's kitchen. Very short walk from the Lomprayah pier at Mae Haad. A sister building was nearing completion, facing the existing one. The balconies in this new building will not get direct sun, but do have views of the beach. It looked as though a roof terrace was included in the new building but we did not have access so cannot be certain.

Leuk hotel met centrale ligging
Dit hotel is ons goed bevallen. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is heel goed en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. De kamer is ruim en schoon met ventilator en airco en ligt heel centraal in Mae Head. De pier is slechts een paar minuten lopen en er zijn veel duikscholen en restaurants direct in de buurt en uiteraard een 7 eleven. We misten een kluis, douchegordijn en nog een set handdoeken: je krijgt krijgt alleen 2 douchehanddoeken en 2 dunne strandlakens. Direct voor en achter het hotel worden 2 nieuwe panden gebouwd, waardoor er overdag erg veel lawaai was. Er jammer dat het hotel straks helemaal ingeklemd zit tussen de nieuwe gebouwen. Hoewel het hotel direct aan het strand ligt is zwemmen hier niet zo fijn. Je kunt beter naar 1 van de mooie baaien gaan of naar Sairee Beach. Tip 1: ontbijten bij Zest aan de hoofdstraat. Lekker eten, snelle bediening en om 6 uur al open. TIp 2: duiken bij Impian, ook aan de hoofdstuk. 4 jaar geleden ook bij hun gedoken en ook nu weer heel goed bevallen Tip 3: eten bij Safety Stop vlakbij Ananda Villa. Dit was wat ons betreft veruit het beste restaurant (pub) waar wij hebben gegeten op Koh Tao. Helaas ontdekten we dat pas op onze laatste avond.

Great for stop over as ideal location
Used for quick stop over before moving on to elsewhere on Koh Tao - perfect spot as only about 1 minute to ferry piers. Friendly staff and clean rooms so ideal for short stop over.

Wonderful hotel!
Right on the beach, two minute walk from the ferry terminal, very tasty restaurant right opposite it which is cheap but great quality, good local shops, plenty places to hire quads, mopeds, taxi or taxi boats. The rooms are huge and extremely clean and comfortable! Sitting on the balcony in the evenings, rain or sunshine, was amazing! We loved our stayed and will be back again I am sure! I recommend the upper floor to get better views!
