Great location, close to the beach

We had a great time at this property. The place was clean and we had laundry and a kitchen to use as we needed for our family. It is close enough to the beach to walk as needed but also an easy drive to other places on the island.

Great stay!

This property was perfect for our family of 5! Loved having the beach gear. The AC was a total bonus. We had a great time on the south shore in this property!

Perfect for our family

Condo was perfect for our family of 6. Location was convenient and close to our favorite spots. Common area is a great spot to watch sunsets.

Wonderful location

Our 2 week stay in Poipu was lovely. The condo was as described and though we had a minor issue we were able to communicate effectively with the local team to get it resolved. The AC was a nice option after long days in the sun. We would stay in Poipu and specifically this unit again.

Great location

We loved the nearby beaches and had great weather. Plenty of space in the rental. Appreciated the beach chairs and gear. Mainly just salt and pepper and cooking utensils and pots and pans and dishes.

Family loved it

Great home base for our family (5 and 8 year old shared a room with their own twin beds), very close to many fun and kid friendly beaches. You can access resorts and golf courses nearby. And they had beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear available to use, plus the onsite tennis court included pickle ball equipment to play at your leisure. Lovely and comfortable layout and great communication with the property manager via Vacasa. Would definitely recommend!

The overall was stay was 4/5. There was a problem with the A/C. I did appreciate Amy stepping up and getting it fixed, tech was finishing but upon are arrival. Location was great! The cleanliness was good. There were some type of stains on inside the tub , we did see a dead water bug behind the sofa. I felt that they could have cleaned the sliding door windows there was a film over them. I would stay here again it was amazing other than those details listed. You could hear the waves and short walking distance to poipu beach ! 4/5 over all.

Good unit, could be really good

The unit was downstairs, so people walking along the fence to access the shoreline could look down right into the living room. After the unit was remodeled, the curtains were not replaced. The air conditioner units in the living room and master bedroom made an intermittent buzzing sound. Hope those issues can be fixed before future guests come. Even though the unit was older, it has been remodeled and everything is fine. It was very close to the sea arch so that was neat to see. Parking was ample. Management was very responsive and friendly.

The beach chairs were both rusted and busted, the umbrella was unusable. The ACs made a loud noise every 2-3 minutes. The kitchen was sparingly stocked with cooking items. The carpets and furniture felt waxy and were stained. The pictures on VRBO do not reflect what you actually get. Those pictures make the unit seem way nicer. Overall I would not recommend this unit to anyone to rent at this price point.

Bugs! No real ocean view. Also although it was on the ground floor there were 2 small ( 7 steps each)sets of stairs and 2 of us have limited mobility. Since no ac we used the fans a lot. Kitchen was well supplied with essential equipment.

Ohana vacation

The room was decotaed nice and had the amenities you would need in the kitchen and for out door fun. Where we had problems is that there is no air in the unit and 2 of 3 ceiling fans were not working which made for a warm unit. The tv in master bedroom did notwork. The dryer did not work until the last 2 days. 2 after maintenance came.notwdu

Fit for a family

The property was perfect for our family. We had 3 adults, a 4 year old, and 14 month old. Plenty of space, and a great layout. It was so nice being on the ground floor. We could open the sliding doors to the lanai (which was very spacious), and our kids could go in and out without worry. Even though the walking path is up above, we still found it to be quite private. We loved the choice of furniture in the place as well- So comfortable and lots of room/seating. We compared it to others, as we had family in different units, and this one was definitely nicer. Appreciated the kitchen being stocked with some things, lots of cooking appliances. Great welcome snacks! A couple things came up during our stay, but the manager was very responsive. the screen on the door was broken and letting in some flies. We contacted the manager and the team came out to fix it the next day. Short walks to the beach on either side! There was also great beach gear- chairs, umbrellas, toys, cooler, boogie board, child life jacket. The unit does not have air conditioning, but there are ceiling fans in each room as well as plug in fans. Overall a great experience staying here and we loved Kauai!

Good but privacy concerns.

This was a nice condo, close to the water, and close to shopping. It was comfortable for my family of 5 but small considering the rental cost was very high, that's mostly a Kauai thing. The privacy concerns include a walking trail right next to the condo and people tend to look while they walk by. Also the property manager likes to access her condo thru the side yard property, which was part of our rental space. She pushed her way past my wife with her construction crew in tow to look at some property she owned down the way past ours. It was rude and happened a few times. She could have handled it way better. There are 4 doors to the condo and some are hard to lock, and there are no curtains on the main slider door so it never feels truly private or secure. The wall / door from the Master into the Living Room is very thin, so minimal privacy there and does not lock. The Master TV has no sound and the remote was out of batteries. Other than these things we liked to condo. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room was nicely furnished and that TV worked well. The washer / dryer was nice. The master shower / tub was a bit dated and slippery. There was a bunch of outdoor accessories included in the side yard. The pool was nice and hardly used by others. Very very windy location at times. I guess because you are on the southern tip of the island it is windy here. I liked this location but I think there are better options in Princeville if you are ok staying on the north side. I have definitely stayed at way nicer Hawaii condos for way less money in the past few years but this one was passable. It's hard to find a true 4 bed condo and this did have that. Overall nice but the price tag does not justify the rough edges.

Nice location, but not recommended

We liked the location, near ocean but no beach, just cliffs, nice trail on cliffs. Some view of ocean from outside on lanai. It does make us sad to have to leave a negative review, I am sure the owners are lovely people. We don't recommend this condo for multiple reasons. Right off the bat, our first impression was a very bad sign! Right at front door was a huge pile of old construction materials, not even in a bag. It felt like a dump before even getting thru front door! We asked multiple times to remove it and it wasn't until 3 days later that the trash was removed. Back bedroom and kitchen is underground, and views out those windows is seeing the ground only, basement, no air flow back there, and no AC to make up for it. Many things did not work, shower would not drain, toilet would not flush, coffee maker did not work well, hair dryer had issues, one drawer in bathroom came crashing down on me, hurting me, as tracks were broken, so could not use it, carpets and mattresses felt and looked very old, carpets were musty and moldy smelling. Read listing carefully, there is no safe at condo, so you must carry all your valuables with you at all times. We did not want to stay there... and staff tried hard to fix what they could, They were attentive, and offered a full refund on the conditions we left right away and found something else. Vacasa tried to help us find something else, and in addition the 4 of us desperately spent hours and hours well into the night on phone and our computers, and could not find anywhere else to stay at last minute . So we had no choice but to stay there and pay full price. The condo needs some serious attention. It was not at all what we expected!

The layout of the condo offered plenty of room for the entire family. With only a short walk to the pool and fans in each room, cooling off after a day hiking or on the beach was easy.

Nice unit with very generous welcome snacks. This is unit is essentially a walkout basement unit which is OK but when we were there the unit did not cool off at night (no AC).
