We had a terrible experience. We booked this condo for 9 nights with our four children. We ended up only staying for four nights. During the first three days, the lights and fans would randomly turn on and off, even at night, waking us and our kids up. The air conditioner leaked onto the desk in the master bedroom, soaking our belongings.But the nightmare started on our third day. The condo was broken into while we were gone in the morning. As mentioned in other reviews, there are no curtains in the sliding doors and the hundreds of people walking by on the path above can see straight into the main living area. The lock on the sliding door was broken and the wooden dowels did not prevent the doors from being opened. Our belongings were stolen. We called Vacasa and were told over by multiple people we would hear from the “local manager.” It has been three weeks since the incident and I never heard from the local manager after dozens of calls and messages. The lock on the door was not fixed and Vacasa did not reach out to help us find a secure alternative place to stay. We were forced to find another condo in the Poipu area on our own dime and on our own time to fit our family of six for the remaining 5 nights. We waisted two whole days of our vacation trying to get Vacasa to help us and never received a call from the local manager. As a host, that is so unacceptable,Do not stay here or rent from Vacasa if you value your vacation time.
