“Beautiful resort, incredibly friendly staff, great restaurant options and incredible skiing 2 minutes away. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every single minute of it. The only restaurant I couldn’t recommend is the shabu-shabu restaurant as the portions were small and not much flavour for the money. Well kept rooms, ski/ board storage was great and the onsen was one of the best I’ve visited in Japan. ”

“The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. “This hotel is a hidden gem with helpful and friendly staff. Feels like a b&b with cooked breakfast, games area for adults and kids. The staff went above and beyond - helping us with transport to our next destination, making calls (in Japanese) and driving us to our shuttle connection. Rooms were comfortable and warm. It’s about 10mins from the town centre but they do offer pick up and drop offs from the train, and it makes it quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! ”
