地鉄駅まで徒歩約8分で交通の便は良い。 施設についてはトイレが詰まりやすい、以外は悪くない。 英語は通じにくく（VoiceTraを利用してやり取り）、コンシエルジも不十分。 係員は概ねは好印象。 朝食は良い方では。

I was very upset with my experience with this hotel. It is advertised as providing free airport shuttle. That is the only reason I booked this place. I contacted through Expedia with all of my details. I arrived to the airport in the middle of the night and nobody was there. I was not prepared with other options. I ended up being price gouged in an illegal taxi. The hotel told me they do not provide any sort of airport service. The next day when I wanted to go to town they would only accept me going to the airport. I finally gave in and figured I could get to town from there. Instead of putting me in a taxi I again ended up overpaying for an illegal taxi.

Only for the China domestic guests

Location was far into an estate. not much other than a bakery and some local food. cheap nevertheless, but it really is not in a state for tourists. Old, carpentry and carpets are way too old, fridge and airconditioning doesnt work, every room is a room that has had someone who smoked, lobby is also confusing for cars as there are two lobbies. Lobby has smoke everywhere. DONT DO THE HOTEL MASSAGE. They say its an hour but its only 10 minutes or less! The same price gets you a decent 90 minutes in town! Just bad!

Just like the pictures and I had fun!

I booked this in advance for my 19 hour layover in Kunming. The Didi driver dropped us off at the restaurant entrance (the 2nd floor of the building), and front desk is located on the 1st floor. Actually I was very impressed w/ how pretty it is and I think it's a brand. I explained I'd like to check-in. At first I was confused when the attendant asked me if I'd like to book, but luckily the other front desk attendant understood that I was referring to my reservation and they showed me a printed paper with my name on it. I confirmed it was me and they charged me the price I booked on Expedia (on my credit card: the pending transaction was under a Beijing travel agency, but the name changed to Xiangjiang Hotel). Puran (that's the Chinese name of the English-speaking attendant) was friendly and informative: he explained how much the airport transport service cost (less than what I paid the Didi driver!!), that the card is for electricity, gave us the Wi-Fi password and explained I can have breakfast to-go using my ticket. I love the bathroom (includes a shower and bathtub). I had a lot of fun walking around the area because the greenery is beautiful. There are stores visible from the moment I stepped out the front entrance and because there are people who live in the apartments surrounding the hotel, I felt safe walking around during the day. I even bought some medicine in the pharmacy next door. I didn't eat at the restaurant, sorry! I would stay here again or in another city.

Terrible experiences

They didn’t provide the discount room as showed on the website, instead they charged the full price of the room. This is unacceptable. I DON’T recommend this hotel to other travelers. This is not a real 5star hotel due to it’s location, cleanliness, and food quality.

Got an upgrade for staying 2 nights. Room is quiet,spacious and clean. Lots of food (local style) to choose from in buffet breakfast. Location of hotel is on a hill top. Better suited for visitors who have cars or not mind paying for taxis. Contact phone number of the hotel on my confirmation letter is incorrect.
