“I had a first floor room which is semi open and well equiped with mosquito nets, fan etc. to keep bugs away in this open setup. Enjoyed being so close to nature, waking up to birdsongs. The ground floor rooms are closed if you dont like thr thought of an open room. Accomodation is on the beach and stretches approx 1.2km and I enjoyed sunrise (over sea) and sunset walks. “Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. “We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

“I appreciated the walking distance to the beach as well as staff that is just amazing! Also, the location is perfect as it is close to the beach but not right on the beach where the most of the bars and restaurants are located, while distant enough from the main road. Breakfast is nice and served with great attention by the staff that is friendly and professional despite long working hours ( most of them were there the whole day). ”

“We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again”
