The Alexander Villa holds a wonderful location on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Agii Apostoli, on the eastern side of the island of Evia. Evoia is the second largest island in Greece after Crete and makes a fabulous family-friendly destination, guests will enjoy tranquil sandy beaches, just two hours’ drive from the magnificent city of Athens. The village of Agii Apostoli boasts helpful amenities including restaurants, beach bars and mini markets as well as a golden sandy beach.
The villa can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests across its four well-appointed bedrooms. The majority of the accommodation is set on the ground level, the living space is open-plan, ideal for the whole family to socialise, comprising of a living room, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen, with direct access to the stunning pool terrace. Also on this level are the first of the bedrooms, three double rooms each boasting en-suite facilities and terrace access. Upstairs on the first floor is the impressive master bedroom with its large sea view terrace, the perfect setting to enjoy the Aegean sea views.
Outside, the whole family will enjoy spending sunny afternoons splashing around in the private swimming pool or simply relaxing on one of the sun loungers with a good book and a refreshing beverage in hand! After action-packed days spent beach hopping around the island, guests will enjoy spending warm evenings dining al fresco on the terrace while admiring the panoramic sea views.

The Alexander Villa holds a wonderful position on the eastern side of Evia Island, set on the outskirts of the tranquil fishing village of Agii Apostoli. The picturesque village is just a few minutes’ drive away and is home to a small handful of excellent tavernas offering both delicious, traditional Geek cuisine and more international choices. Also in the village are two helpful supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a butcher, while the three beach bars make the perfect setting for lazy afternoons! The beach at Agii Apostoli features golden sands and calm blue waters, ideal for families. There are a selection of other excellent beaches in the surrounding area including, Stomio, Klimaki and Kalamos, all within a 40-minute drive of the villa.The beautiful island of Evia is a remarkably accessible destination from the city centre of Athens, Athens International Airport and the ports of Piraeus or Rafina.
Frequently misperceived as part of the mainland due to its connection by two bridges (a modern suspended one and an old sliding one), Evia is the second-largest island in Greece after Crete. It is, in fact, separated from the mainland by the narrow Strait of Evripos.
The city is less than a 90-minute drive from Villa Apostoloi and is well worth a visit with its lively waterfront, lined with buzzing tavernas serving fresh, delicious seafood. History enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the ottoman Karababa Castle – while it no longer protects the city, it still offers fantastic views from the top!Slightly further afield, at just over a 2-hour drive away, is Greece’s iconic capital city, Athens. This ancient city is an absolute must-visit, bursting with instantly recognisable attractions including, The Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium. Also worth visiting are the National Archaeological Museum, home to an astounding collection of Greek artefacts, the tranquil National Gardens which offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and finally, Lycabettus Hill, from which visitors can enjoy sweeping views across Athens. The magnificent Temple of Poseidon is a further half an hour away at Cape Sounio, originally built to guide sailors safely home, today, the towering columns look simply spectacular against a Greek sunset backdrop.
