  • 3 independent bedrooms have its own toilet and bathroom attached at an unbeatable location:
    Kyoto Higashiyama area,
    right on the foothill of Kiyomizu Temple (7mins walk)
    8 mins walk to Yasaka Shrine
    13 mins to Kyoto station by taxi
    1 min walk from bus # 206 Kiyomizumichi bus stop
    Super convenient for sightseeing, shopping, dining out, transportation.

    This Big house has 3 independent bedrooms: two western bedrooms and one Japanese tatami room. Each of them has a toilet and shower room attached which is very rare to find in Kyoto at such a great location. It can host up to 10 people.
    Each western bedroom has one double bed (140X200cm) and one semi-double bed (120X200cm). The tatami room can set up two sets of Japanese futons. It attaches to a private Japanese garden. Our guests can enjoy tea and have a beautiful view of the garden right at our house.

Excellent location near Kiyomizu and Gion. An abundance of places to eat and easily walk to. Clean and well situated house. Good communication. It may be a stretch to sleep 10 as listed. We had a family of 5 and it worked well.

We had a great 7 day stay in Kyoto. The house is centrally located in a small neighborhood within walking distance of the Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It is very quiet at night and theee are many great restaurants in the area. Our only complaint was there wasnt a good place to hang out as a family when they day is done. Other than that, the place was great and the communication with our host Bliss was great!

Location was amazing! Accommodations were perfect for our two adult couples and 1 year old. The garden and inner woodwork was beautiful and so tranquil! Host went out of their way to answer questions and ensured we had a crib and high chair for the baby. Would stay again.

We loved our stay here! The residence was clean and in a great location. So much to see do and eat in this area. The floor plan worked well for four adults and one infant.

This unit is very near Kyomizu Dera, a good grocery, and lots of excellent restaurants.Three bathrooms, a good kitchen, a tatami mat room for relaxing, and lots of sleeping space. We spent three days in Kyoto and saw all of the major sites. Local bus routes run right near the unit and trains are within a short distance. Connections are easy to the subway, JR Lines, and Kyoto main station for Shinkansen connections.Highly recommended for a stay in Kyoto.

This beautiful house is in the Gion district near Kiyomizu temple. It had everything our family of 5 wanted in Kyoto. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped so we could eat half our meals at home. The laundry is slow but handy. A mouse got into the ceiling and the host set out traps immediately when we reported it. There is a bus stop about 100 feet form the house, but the nearest rail access is a bit of a walk.

Fabulous location and extremely responsive host!

The property is as advertised - steps from restaurants, shops, bus line, and historical landmarks. 6 of us stayed here and had plenty of room. Would love to stay here again if we are ever able to return!

The check in couldn't have been easier, and the location is amazing. It was nice to be able to spread out. The air conditioning, wifi, and showers were all perfect.

This location is amazing! One street away is the road up to temples and shrines, lined with shops, food stands and restaurants. It's a charming neighborhood, mostly carless, but steps from a main road with a 24 hour supermarket. The inside is very comfortable, with 3 bedrooms, each with it's own shower and toilet. The kitchen has a table big enough to accomodate a group for breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is very well-equipped.

Location was amazing right in the historic district. Accommodations were large and comfortable for a family of 4. AC units worked great in the summer heat. The home also had a washer and dryer that was very convenient for our week long stay. House is in a very quiet street and only 50 yard from the Main Street where you can grab a bus or taxi. Overall very satisfied and would stay here again.

Excellent Location

The property fit all of our needs, we had a group of seven people traveling across the country, and this met all of our needs. The water pressure was incredible, the staff were very responsive and replied to all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and you are literally a block away from a beautiful shrine. So much to explore here, can’t wait to come back, hopefully in a year or so.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay and the 3 bathrooms worked well for our group. There was a good grocery store just one block away, so that was very convenient. The home was clean, and had everything we needed. We had excellent day trips to all the local sites and particularly enjoyed the downtown food markets.

Great location!

We stayed for a few nights with another family, 9 of us total. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have 3 bathrooms. House is stocked with tea and coffee. Is walking distance to shops and restaurants and it was easy to hail a cab when needed!

Well kept but minimal kitchen items to allow eating for a group over 4 people (possibly some items were not replaced when previous renters broke them?). Excellent location, very nicely maintained and really good air con etc... be aware that this is mainly a foot traffic area and would recommend following the owners pre-check in WIFI was good, and it's so close to a family mart a grocery store and major temple attractions
