Great Home

Perfect spot for large groups. We had 4 families and all had plenty of space and privacy. The dock is a great bonus. We will be back next summer

We had an amazing time at this property! For a family who loves to cook, the kitchen had everything. The house set up was perfect for a large family. The dock was awesome and had life jackets and floats. The owners were so friendly and responsive. Such a blast and lots of memories made.

What a wonderful experience we had staying at this beautiful home with all the amenities you will ever need. It was a summer vacation for a family coming together from Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and Boston. Lots of children. Beautiful memories created. The house slept all 13 of us

Our family could not have had a better stay at this home! It accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen and the dock areas are BEYOND amazing and of course Lake Norris is always a dream! 🤩

Beautiful Home

This home is absolutely beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen, this home has everything you need for an enjoyable getaway with families and friends. The host was very easy to communicate with and helped us through the process and she made sure we enjoyed our stay. We are thinking of returning next year.

Great Getaway

Our family loved our time at the lake house. The location was great to a few places on the water which we enjoyed. The owner was more than helpful with giving extra information when asked. If you bring your own boat Wittman Marina is on the way to the house. I would suggest you drop your boat off at the landing there, they allow you to leave your trailer there for seven days. Also the boat ride to the house from the marina is a not bad at all.

As advertised

The property was as advertised and did not disappoint! Our family was able to enjoy the house, boat dock, and lake with the mostly everything being provided. The home owner was more than helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Using the open boat slip made the lake even more enjoyable. My one recommendation for this property would be to have steps down to the dock to make it an easier walk down. We hope to be able to book this property again in the future!

Family vacation

The house was fully stocked and had everything you needed. The walk to the lake was shorter than most but there were no steps or paved path. The lake got pretty busy at the dock. However the size of the dock made it seem like there were few waves. The house was a little expensive due to the lack of steps and only have 4 true bedrooms. Overall it was a great experience!

Wonderful Setup

Jeanne & Maurice were exceptional hosts! Any concern, question or desired information was addressed promptly with kindness! We had a family reunion & this home is setup in such a way that Family game night, Dinners together or simply talking about life on the deck or dock was easy to achieve. The dock is easy to access from the home~ even for the family matriarch in her later 80s! This is quite a unique asset on Norris! Thank you so very much for creating such a perfect environment for all of us to reconnect!

The perfect lake getaway!

We were blown away at the beauty of this lake house! The house is spacious and gave 6 adults and 3 kids plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is completely stocked and perfect for family dinners in. We enjoyed just hanging on the dock during the day and beautiful sunrises/sunsets on the deck. No need to ever leave the house except for beautiful boat rides along the gorgeous lake. The owner is so nice and easy to reach. The neighbors are so welcoming and even let us borrow their skis! Overall, amazing vacation! Only con is the wifi, it was very spotty and close to impossible to even make a phone call… but it helped us disconnect even more which was nice :)

Good size for multiple families

The house is accommodating for larger groups given the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms. The dock has great space to hang out but it is located in a main channel so the water is often choppy if you are looking to swim in the lake. The furniture both inside and outside is very worn and some not usable. The landscaping needs to be maintained as there is no use of the fire pit area.

Nice place with easy access to water

Overall very nice. Outside needed a little landscape maintenance. Wifi wasn’t great. Boat slip was narrow. Upstairs split unit wasn’t very cool but house stayed comfortable. House was very clean. Deck and dock were great. House had everything you needed. Dock would see a lot of waves during peak season with shallow water and marina near but off season was quiet. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Whitman marina is a few miles away to launch your boat. Nice having seperate king beds and bathrooms. Had a good time.

House was GREAT!

We rented a boat and stayed at this lake house for a week. The house was perfect for all of us! Luckily the driveway was not a steep one! Each bedroom has a king size bed and attached bathroom. Kitchen has everything you would need! The walk down to the lake was not too steep either so that was nice. The only thing I would suggest would be a little clean up on the back of the property. There is an old broken picnic table and a big pile of tree branches. But that is just a suggestion to the owners because it would look more appealing to guests. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and we genuinely appreciate the use of your beautiful home!

Outstanding!!

I highly recommend this rental. Wow! We had a total of 14 people and we had plenty of room. My parents (70’s) along with my brother and sister and all spouses and all our six kids (4 boys ages 14-21) and 2 girls (17 and 11). We rented a tritoon from Whitman Hollow Marina and two wave runners from Shanghai resort and the dock had plenty of room for everything. The bathrooms are all modern and quite lovely. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The kitchen and living area combined with the decks allowed for a LOT of excellent family time and fantastic meal prep. Plenty of prep and serving items as well as utensils. Two ovens. Two coffee makers. Two refrigerators. They thought of everything. I cannot say enough good about how much fun we had. The hosts are extremely responsive and wonderful people. Top notch! 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Open Concept

The home was very comfortable, and loved the open concept kitchen & living room. The large kitchen table was not only perfect for dinners with our big group, but hosted many evening card games! Having 2 refrigerators, 2 laundry rooms and a couple of bathrooms available for those who were not sleeping in a bedroom (ie: loft area) was key for our large group. The kids (big and small) enjoyed the milkshake machine and the ice-maker was convenient, giving us ice all week! Although the house is situated outside the wake zone, we spent a lot of time floating in the lake and on the covered dock. Having outside toys, like the life jackets, floats, kayaks, and paddle boards was definitely a nice perk for this property.

Such Family Fun

Absolutely fantastic!!!! New remodeled, super clean and every detail taken care of in the kitchen. Lots of space! Our family of 16, all ages had, a most memorable time at the lake house. Owners exceptional in communication and details. We would return for sure and highly recommend!! Very happy guests!

Norris Paradise

This is a great property on Norris Lake, Jeanne and Maurice have everything included and are the most helpful hosts. The house itself has everything you could imagine, from a milkshake maker to every appliance you can think of. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked with supplies, there is plenty of seating for everyone. The dock is amazing, with plenty of water toys, swimming right off the dock, and great seating options. You could easily stay here and not need a boat. The property owners are very quick to respond and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you can imagine. We will definitely visit again!

Great house for multiple families right on the lake

Property is very clean and in great shape. House is designed well to give each family separate space, in particular private bathroom space, but then it still has a large kitchen and living room to congregate. The owners are very generous with providing toys on the dock. Life jackets, kayaks, paddleboards all made available. The kids loved having different options. The owners were very good at communicating before check in, they did a great job at making sure we had everything we needed, we would love to come back!
