Long weekend in La Jolla

Very nice 2 bedroom condo with 3 en-suite bathrooms. Plenty of storage. Very nice kitchen. Hot tub in the back was a very nice setting. Front porch with plenty of seating. Would highly recommend!

Perfect beach vacation spot

We loved every minute of our stay here. Just one street back from the beach, but with a lovely water view. The unit feels very roomy ... two large bedrooms with private baths and lots of closet and drawer storage. The kitchen is large, modern, and well-equipped. The private hot tub was a very nice extra luxury. Unlike other units near here, this one doesn't waste deck space with a dining table and chairs. Instead, it has lots of couches, which let us all relax outdoors together. We would definitely stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. Thanks for our lovely winter getaway!

Great property with minor quirks

We had a wonderful time and this was a great place to stay. The location and view were great. Either I missed it or it wasn’t in the initial description, but there is a new construction happening literally on the next lot which is very close. I was notified after booking about this but not prior. We stayed Jan 2025 so with the holiday, the construction was minimal for us. We had to reach out to get the hot tub fixed. We got the impression it was known about so it would’ve been nice to have them instigate the repair vs us reaching out. There were a few minor things that were broken (knob on stove) or odd (the bathroom counter/sink cabinet is just a bit too deep in one bathroom so it will catch the door latch) but since it’s a rental property these were not deal-breakers. But that is why overall it’s a 4/5 for us. None of this would not deter us from staying again given the opportunity.

Great stay in La Jolla

We loved our stay! The two highlights were the view of the ocean and the backyard oasis and jacuzzi. Clean property, loved the location as well. We walked 30 seconds to the beach every night for sunset. Would stay again!

This is a wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely, attractively furnished, well equipped and well maintained. The location (one block from the beach, and a pleasant walk into La Jolla village. The spa is a delightful bonus. The property management staff were first rate: responsive, professional and friendly. We look forward to another stay at this property.

A perfect spot to relax

We booked this property without ever having been to the area. The condo was exactly as described, with very clear instructions for everything. You can hear the waves crashing from your room. A great partial view despite construction of a new home in front of this property. Less than a minute and you're on the beach. Tons of cookware and items for eating in or storing leftovers. The spa is a huge win, easy to use with multiple temperature settings. It was a great way to wind down each night! This was one of the best stays we've had in a long time!

Awesome place

We love Windansea Beach and the surrounding area. Great jumping off point for a family to hit Seaworld, the Zoo, Lego Land, etc. but Windansea beach, 1 block down the hill, is my favorite feature. Best beach in the area. Hot tub was money too, super nice, 4.7 outta 5, would stay again.

Great property with a Great location!! Home was comfortable and had everything you’d need to cook and stay in or head to the beach and enjoy the beach activities!! The added highlight is the back patio with grill and hot tub!!

Beautiful La Jolla

First, I would like to say that we would have given this 4.5* instead of 4 if they'd let us. The condo is beautiful, in a great location with direct views of the ocean (which may or may not become somewhat obstructed in the future due to new construction across the street). La Jolla is as good as it gets in the San Diego area and this condo is an excellent value there. We really loved the comfort of the layout and our kids enjoyed getting in the private hot tub. The neighborhood is mostly quiet despite easy access to the (rocky) beach, and La Jolla's shopping and restaurant epicenter is a short drive away. The main downside for us was noise from neighbors walking above. I'm sure they're just walking normally as we would, but at times it sounded like stomping. With little kiddos that we were trying to get to bed in an unfamiliar place, this was a little problematic during a couple of nights. We were also expecting a tub in one of the showers based on the property description, but both were walk in showers. Again, with little kids, tubs are very helpful. I also recommend to the owner that they replace or fix the toilet in the right bathroom. It takes a really good push of the button to get it to flush and, when it does, makes a crazy loud noise. But overall, we were pretty happy with our stay.
