“The property served our family's needs great while we were on Madeline Island for a larger family event. There was a brief snafu on housekeeping when we arrived, the owners jumped on it and made it right immediately - we were very appreciative of their prompt attention. Madeline Island has pretty spotty cell service (like almost none), but we were able to use wifi to contact the hosts, and they couldn't have been more responsive. Sometimes things go sideways - but it is how people react that...

“Overall we enjoyed our stay here. While the house was beautiful and had many updates along with an incredible view, it was not super clean. Not a huge deal, but the floor didn't seem like it had been swept and the counters not wiped down. All the sheets and towels were clean. Also, before you rent here be sure to double check the location. The map on VRBO shows the location along the coast somewhere in the middle of the island.
