La Quinta Experience

Solid spot. Nailed the basics: 1. Clean 2. Good bed. 3. Nice view from kitchen patio. 4. Fabulous water pressure 5. Convenient location. Enjoyed our time. We love the La Quinta resort area and vibe. This place has it. It could use a little love in a few spots but nothing major. We would most certainly recommend.

Spacious LaQuinta Luxury

Stayed in this villa while attending a conference at the resort and it truly exceeded my expectations. It is well-equipped and comfortable. I will stay here again for vacation. Delightful.

Beautiful views & location and that’s about it.

This was our 6th visit to La Quinta resort but 1st time in this unit. It was pretty updated- except for a shredded outdoor chair and could use some new drapes in the living area. Upon arrival it was 100 degrees and stuffy with absolutely no directions as how to turn on the AC. After several attempts to contact California Lifestyle we finally started just pushing buttons on anything we could find. They eventually responded that they needed to turn the unit on remotely. Disappointed since we arrived 2 hours after we were supposed to. A couple hours later we were unable to open the sofa bed. It was absolutely stuck and smelled awful- as though the couch has never been cleaned. We received zero response from those texts and our daughter had to just sleep on the couch. That issue was not fixed until noon the next day when they responded and sent someone. But she had a very hard time with the zipper as well. So needless to say it was a one bed unit that night even though we paid for the sofa bed. Lastly we were watching the NCAA games and the tv went out. Literally switching to Samsung plus (?) which doesn’t seem to have live tv let alone ESPN. After multiple attempts to fix that ourselves I texted. Never received a response back. But mysteriously the tv started working again 2 days later. Also it isn’t advertised that this unit is above a 5 car garage. So you will definitely be woken up early by those coming and going and locking their cars.

The best property in the Desert...

Truly one of the best properties in the Desert. The grounds, restaurants and facilities are amazing.Unit needs some repairs...faucets leaking. Stairs are in need of repair. A/C is very loud. Did have a nice deck with Mountain View. Close to quiet pools and across from the main pool.

Unit location was excellent. Overall rating was driven by lack of cleanliness upon arrival and an appliance issue that had not been addressed despite a previous VRBO review complaint.

Great Location, would stay again.

As described, perfect for single, or couple. Only critique was in the description there was supposed to be additional information on the TV, but outside of the room number I could find no other information (pool code, laundry access, trash disposal location). No real issue, as didn’t need them, but might improve this in the future for others.

Perfect mix of condo and resort life in Palm Desert

So nice to be able to park the car next to our unit - and then just settle in on the resort property for the next couple of days. We enjoyed time with a glass of wine on our balcony - but also enjoyed walking a few steps to the restaurants and bars on the La Quinta property. Pool and spa were just steps away - and not crowded at all since there are several pools available. Having two bathrooms was more than we needed - but it would be a great option for a group of 4 people who might be sharing the unit. A+

Some problems that need to be resolved

Paid for early check in. Code didn’t work. Stood outside in 105 degree temperatures for 25 min while on the phone trying to get a code that worked. Super frustrating. Ice maker put out maybe 10 cubes of ice our entire stay. And the most frustrating part was the temperature limiter on the air conditioning. There’s all these up charges and the air will not go below 70 degrees. I set it to 72 during the day but while I sleep I need it cooler. It’s ridiculous to pay that much and still be hot all night.

Excellent location

The suite was very clean. We enjoyed coffee on the patio with a beautiful view of the resort and surrounding mountains. Check in process was very simple. We love La Quinta Resort and the amenities it provides. We will stay again!!

La Quinta resort is lovely. This unit does not have access to fitness, tennis or main resort pool but is well located with several spa unit pools and hot tubs nearby.Easy walk to resort restaurants and shops. The unit is as shown but much more tired. The bedding was good, bed comfortable.Water was hot. Kitchen appliances are new, kitchen was adequately equipped. Fireplace worked, It was the lack of maintenance that was notable. The front stairs as previously reported , have not been repaired but the bottom step has a piece of wood with tinfoil covering a break. The second step has also collapsed so it almost entails a jump to ground.The California shutters in the kitchen have broken slats, drapes are missing rings, the curtains have rips,the safe was closed/locked so not accessible,the toilet in the bedroom works but is very touchy and still runs.The shower was clean but tiles are very stained. Decks/ stairs had not been swept. We also found the communication re: pool access ( no code required),thermostat directions ( not the same thermostat), washer/dryer ( no longer locked nor cleaned) and garbage disposal ( no recycling?/use of resort cans?) was not well conveyed in arrival directions or on the "in house board" . It was a perfect size and layout for my husband and myself and I hope I have noted some of the positives . It may even have been reasonable value for location but I would not choose to stay in this unit again until it has undergone repairs and updates.

Great Location

This condo is in a great location, close to everything. Property Manager is great with timely communication. Only suggestion for improvement would be to repair first step on stair way to unit.

Always a great weekend

We have stayed at this property many times over many years. It is definitely getting a bit run down but we love the quiet. We’ve stayed in many of the places on that row. This one had nice furnishings and was clean. The cons were the steps outside are literally taped together and dangerous. The a/c in the bedroom was super loud. And the toilet in the bedroom gets stuck and runs. Wasn’t enough to ruin the trip but all things that need attention.
