Vacasa bad mgmt company

House was great. The rest not so much. La Quinta put all kind of rules and regulation in place so you are afraid even to stay and talk over a coffee is “too early”. 150/day to heat hot tub (really, who wants a a cold hot tub) info which is not part of description until you receive the vacasa package is over the top.. To summarize - I will never rent with Vacasa to whom VRBO passes the complains.

Desert getaway

Great house, great pool with Mountain View, well appointed and maintained. Did not care for Vacasa’s customer service which I had to contact for pool heat. Emails stated 24 hour advance notice needed in some places and 72 hours in others for pool heat. After 3 calls and being placed on long holds over the course of several days, I was denied heat but the local Vacasa Rep straightened it out in the end. I will stick with owner managed properties after this experience which is a shame as we really enjoyed the property once there.

Lovely Home with Pool

Loved this home. The size was perfect. Home was clean, pool was the perfect size. Lots of amenities & sizable kitchen for cooking & entertaining. Definitely recommend for a great stay.

Spring Break 2022

We enjoyed our stay at LaQuinta Cove. We went hiking nearby as well as made trips to Joshua Tree, the zoo, and into Palm Springs. The house was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and patio (we did pay for heat during our stay since the night temps were in the upper 50s to the lower 60s). The home managers were easy to contact - we had the unfortunate need to call in the middle of the night due to a CO detector malfunction. The on call person was helpful and got us taken care of quickly and got us back to bed within a short amount of time. Only wishes for the home were a pot holder to take items out of the oven, some aluminum foil, and baggies.

Friends rendezvous

Friends rendezvous. It was a great house and a nice location. There were five of us, and the only complaint was that the shared bathroom is pretty small. It would’ve been nice to have maybe a half bath as well. The neighborhood is nice, and lots of walking and hiking very close by! We did not cook any meals inside or out, but the kitchen and outdoor kitchen were both really nice looking! The living room could’ve used a little more seating as the bedrooms easily sleep six adults. There’s really only room for three (or four very cozy) people to sit and watch TV.

Wonderful stay and great service!

The home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group. (Two couples and our 1.5 year old son) We had a great experience with Mo from Vacasa who made our check in process super easy and made herself available later in the day when we had some follow up questions about the pool. Thank you Mo! The home has everything you need (and everything is well labeled!) Mints on the pillows and mini shampoos/conditioners made it feel like a hotel stay! We look forward to returning!

Rethink kitchen

Lovely comfortable home. Very clean. Problems in kitchen, 4 dinner fork but plenty of salad forks which don’t work well cutting steak. Pots and pans a good brand but non stick coating damaged and it’s not recommended to use with such damage. Toilet paper will take a layer off you bottom it’s so cheap. Manager of property insisted on FaceTime due to “COVID”. Just prior to renting this home had rented one in the mountains of California with no such condition.

Great House, Great Location Great Check In/Out Process

Loved it, loved it!! Not much to say their description and reviews are 100% accurate and real! Bonus would be the price 🤝🤗👍🏻 Only complaint would be the additional fee to get jets and heat in the jacuzzi, shouldn’t that be part of it??? Anyways, not needed since temp was pretty hot!!!

Nice spot in the Cove

It is a nice updated home with plenty of room for 4-6 adults. Having a private pool in a courtyard was a nice bonus. Especially with Covid concerns. The Cove is a mixed neighborhood of residents and vacationing people so I can understand the need to be respectful as the houses are close together. Overall a nice stay for a family that wants to lay low and relax.

Terrible check in

The house was great. We had no use of the spa for the first 3 nights so that was disappointing. Finally got maintenance to fix it. Check in was a fiasco. We were told that we needed to check in virtually between 10-4. But we were guaranteed an early 2:00 checkin. When we received our call, we were informed that we had to go to the office to check in. We were already in LaQuinta. Then we were told we couldn’t go to the office until 3:30, which negates our early checkin. A short time later, I received a call and checked in over the phone. It was as if none of the other calls had happened. It was like 2 different companies, different rules. Very frustrating. But, we got in and had a lovely time.

Nice Getaway House

Overall house is nice. It was clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Pool is small but works for lounging and backyard patio is nice. Had issue with TV/cable which I did not get a call back on until the following day. Tried getting later checkout than 10 when I knew place was not rented out for next few days and mgmt company running the place would not budge. Listing is managed by a company and not by the owner. The company Vacasa is very corporate and not great to deal with.

Relaxin oasis

This was a great low-key place to stay...not accustomed to the lighting which we could not figure the room lamps, needed a light bulb or different reason. Other than that, it was great place to stay. Wish there was flexibility about heating the pool during our stay, but it was clear that we had to give advance notice. Overall, nice cozy place to stay.

Great family getaway near Palm Springs

We needed to get out of the house and wanted to soak in some pool time. This house is just beautiful! Such a nice set up. Great for a family vacation. I wish we had booked for another couple of days. The inside of the home is huge. Great large kitchen and family rooms. Large master bedroom and bath. Too bad no tub. Large walk-in closets. Smaller pool but still great with jacuzzi and the set up in that area is nice. There is a great backyard also small but With nice seating area and built in grill.

Great location

Great house for two couples to share while in Palm Desert for a golf vacation. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were only ten minutes from several great restaurants but we also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen for grilling. The management responded quickly to an issue with the garage door. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house...

Great house, but not the right location for us. We’ll be headed back to Palm Desert next time. The house is perfect for vacation. Nice set up. Easy to keep clean. Quiet neighborhood. The bed in the master was really comfortable. It’s just to far away from restaurants that we like and golf courses I play. Also, make sure you read the “not so fine print”. Though a pool and hot tub are prominently displayed in the ad, it costs an extra $70 per day to heat them. I don’t know where the $70 went, but the pool was cold the first day (even though I told them we would pay the extra cost three days before our arrival) and never really that comfortable and the hot tub was barely warm.
