Safety concerns.My wife was accosted by the next door neighbor at check in. Freaked her out to the point she did not feel safe staying there by herself for the first two nights of our stay before I arrived. We attempted to communicate with the VRBO host. Left messages on the VRBO message board that we would not be staying at the unit due to safety concerns. The host responded to our message that she would call us- first on Saturday, which she did not, then again on Sunday, which she did not. Despite multiple messages on both the message board and via text, they basically did nothing to address our concerns and essentially ghosted us.When I did finally speak to the VRBO host 3 days after our reservation ended, I asked for a refund of at minimum of the cleaning fees since we did not stay at the unit. She said she would call me the next day to confirm this refund. Still waiting....Bottom line, I would NOT recommend this listing due to both safety concerns and poor communication.
