Very nice accommodations with very thoughtful touches from the hostess. Very close to many state parks. We loved the fenced in yard for the dogs. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was such a cute little house with a great backyard. Very dog friendly, even left treats and toys for our dog. The house was very clean and fulfilled our needs for our weekend trip.

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Great fenced in backyard for my dog. Owner is very responsive and helpful with information about the area and home is with 20 minutes of three stare parks.

My girlfriend and myself visited Starved Rock for the weekend with our dog Cooper. This was a perfect, cozy, comfortable place for us to call home for the weekend. Check in was simple and easy. Dog treats, poop bags and towels for dirty paws were there for us which was a wonderful touch. The house was clean, the shower pressure was excellent and the backyard was wonderful to grill and make a fire. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Overall a 10/10 experience!

The Tonti was a lovely, cozy, well-apponted home in a nice neighborhood. Fenced yard is great for dogs and young kids. Great base for hitting Starved Rock area parks and trails and neighboring small towns. Host Elaine provides excellent information about the area. My daughter, me and our dogs had a great time and will return!

Check in was easy&very welcoming, including pet treats, toys&poop bags.I loved that they included dog towels for wet dogs&muddy paws.This was a brief stay on our way back home from a long road trip.With a bit more attention to detail this property could be even better.Couch&chairs could use a deep steam cleaning.They held a little dander odor&kitchen seats had stains. Maybe an old sheet for the couch if guests allow their pets on them would help between deep cleans. Kitchen window into the backyard&bathroom windows need at least a good scrubbing until they can be replaced. Heavier, privacy curtains would be good for the bedroom. Bathroom lacks a good place to hang wet towels.The picture of the living room appeared to have a full couch&love seat. Couch was as pictured but the love seat was just 2 chairs pushed together, not as functional as expected. Home is small, fine for a couple or family with younger children. Backyard was large, fenced in& appeared to be a great space for hanging outside (too cold for our stay to enjoy it completely). Off street parking deep single driveway was helpful. Very convenient to major highways &parks. In fact Starved Rock was a very short drive. Plus a cute park right down the road for kids. Neighborhood is older, decent, felt safe. A bit busy street, seems to be a cut through for the locals. Some decent food choices close& convenient. Overall 3.5. Minor changes would bring it up to 4.0. A few major improvements would really benefit the home.

Wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood. Short drive back and forth to Starved Rock where we hiked a few trails and learned some history. Our dogs loved the back yard and we loved everything. It truly was our home away from home.

The home was exactly as pictured. Beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure was amazing. Nice fenced in yard. Myself and two friends were never uncomfortable, neighborhood was quiet and safe feeling

A well decorated cute home that was very clean. The yard was wonderful for my dog to play and chill. The location is close to places to eat and hiking at several state parks. The bed was comfortable, I slept so well! The owner was very prompt to respond to any questions. I look forward to coming back.

Our family of six enjoyed Elaine's simple and clean home. It is on a quiet street with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and ample backyard with an awesome firepit set-up! Elaine also went above and beyond with simple hosting touches and helpful information supplied in advance. Her place was close to the three state parks nearby, which was our goal.

The house was cute, clean and very comfy. My bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The yard was a big hit with the 2 dogs. There was a park close by to take the dogs on their morning and evening walks, and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet.

Cozy and clean, with lots of sleeping space. Fenced in yard great for dogs. Within 20 minutes of several state parks. Great place for quick retreat or extended stay. Hope to visit again sometime.

We had a memorial for our dad/grandpa in a nearby town. After 8.5hrs of travel this was the perfect spot to rest. Plenty of space for the five of us. Updates are super stylish while still being comfortable. Local eateries delivered delicious dinners. Amenities are better than some high end hotels. We loved it!

The Tonti house was a wonderful getaway for my husband, dog and I. The location is convenient to the parks, Lasalle has some fantastic restaurants, the neighborhood was friendly and quiet and the home itself was clean and welcoming. My dog especially enjoying running around the backyard. She didn't mind the walk to the local ice cream stand either! Our only wish is the weather would have been cooler so we could have enjoyed the fire pit. We'd highly recommend this home for your next getaway.

We stayed here for my granddaughters wedding. The house is adorable and in a quiet neighborhood. We were close to downtown and could walk to an amazing ing bakery and get coffee every morning. Elaine was so responsive and attentive. Would highly recommend this property.

I stayed at the Tonti for 3 nights with my husband, adult daughter, my sister & our dog and we all loved it! The host was very gracious and provided many thoughtful amenities for us including dog treats, poop bags and a doggie toy! The home has a very cool retro vibe that is consistent in the furnishings, decor and artwork. We felt very welcome and comfortable from the moment we stepped in. The location is great with many small shops nearby and in the charming neighboring towns. Can't say enough good things about it! We look forward to returning.
