What a view!

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay in Dome 1. The accommodations were exceptional and the view was just incredible. Would highly recommend and definitely book again if we visit Nova Scotia again.

Stunning views & great amenities

The location is stunning with expansive views and the sounds of Waves crashing in. The dome was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Waking up to the ocean sunrise was incredible!

Absolute heaven!

Incredible doesn’t begin to describe our stay! Soundly constructed and tastefully but comfortably appointed, your hosts have thought of everything! If the thought of enjoying the hot tub and fire table under a blanket of stars, falling asleep to the sound of waves, and waking up to a stunning view of nothing but ocean sounds heavenly, then this is the place for you!

Fog & Rain Delight

We kept ooooing and ahhhhing as we stepped into the dome! It’s fun, fascinating and very comfy. We loved looking out over the water, being surrounded by fog, hearing the waves hit shore; the rain on the tent - filled our senses! The dome had easy access, was very clean and offered all that was needed. And the hot tub? Wow! Such a treat! The locals are friendly, warm and enjoy conversation. LaHave Bakery with all its goodies is just a short drive away. We loved our visit!

Winter Escape

The hosts were very understanding and accommodating prior to our arrival, as a winter ice storm had made the travel quite treacherous. We ended up switching our dates of stay and were very glad for their cooperation. The dome is on a beautiful piece of land and it felt very private while there. We did find it to be a bit colder than expected, so if you are staying in the dead of winter - be sure to bring extra layers. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you’d need to prepare a meal. The hot tub had a great view of the ocean and the outdoor lights allowed us to use it at night too. Overall we had a lovely time and would return to the lookout again - but next time in fall or spring :)

Relaxing weekend away

We had an amazing weekend here! The dome was such a unique experience. It had everything you could need with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning/heat, and fully stocked bathroom. The outdoor space was just as amazing which included a propane firepit, private hot tub, and gorgeous views. There is nothing within walking distance but highly recommend the Lahave Bakery which is a short 4 minute drive. If you don't make it to the store beforehand, stop at the bakery for some delicious take-and-bake dinners! The only very small downside is the noise from the road. But after the first night, we didn't really notice it. Highly recommend staying here!

This was amazing. Incredible view, very clean and amazing attention to detail. Very much enjoyed our night in the dome and would highly recommend. Highlights include the hot tub, fire ball, and seal swimming in front of us in the ocean.
